The thought behind my build is that I want an archer who is difficult to kill.
I am building a Dragonknight using heavy armor. My primary weapon is a bow with dual wielding as secondary for when they get close. I am going full health with my attributes and I am depending on enchants to boost my stamina.
What would be the benefit if I used medium armor instead?
What would be the benefit if I went as a Nightblade instead?

Shimond✭✭✭✭Benefit to medium armor is more stamina for attacks, since you seem to be focusing on two stamina using weapons (bow and dual wield). Though it really depends on how many class (magica) skills you intend to use too.
Benefit to Nightblade is I believe more burst but at the cost of some abilities being broken or not quite up to what they say they do. Most people seem to think DK is in a better overall spot than NB right now, but the NB issues I'm sure will be fixed at some point.0 -
I prefer medium armor on a DPS DK. The extra crit is great. Go something like 5/2 medium/heavy.
People complain about the NB a lot, but I have one in the VR ranks, and he is still very solid. Mine is medium armor, DW and bow.0
