I hope everyone gets this that this is a satire. It's in the title. I just want to draw attention to how NB class abilities/passives could use some love, in a unique way instead of whining. I'm also only doing 1 class ability group to decrease the text amount.
All values taken from esohead and are base values given there. Accuracy is not going to be 100% therefore. Morphs are not given. For passives only first upgrade is given. Unless range or cost is given, assume no change in.
DK:
Draconic Power -
Dragon Leap. 200 Cost (up from 150). Deals 39 damage to enemies in a 6.5 meter radius. All effected enemies are snared for 70%. (no longer knocks down/back).
Spiked Armor (unmoved in position). Gain 25 additional armor for 17 sec. (no longer gives damage back).
Dark Talons (unmoved in position). Snares enemies for 70% for 3.5 sec (changed from immobilize) and deals 13 damage. Allies may activate the Zephyr synergy increasing run speed by 70% for 3 seconds. (Took off useful synergy, added an escape one for some reason).
Petrify (moved in). Stuns for 12 sec (up from 10.5). Any damage will break the stun. 64 magic damage when the effect ends successfully. (No damage can be done now, damage on stun end, moved in randomly).
Dragon Blood (moved down). Heals for 30% missing health. Increases health regeneration by up to 40% for 20 sec when using basic attacks (1% per basic attack. Added basic attaack requirement). Reduces weapon and spell damage by 25% for 20 sec (Allows for hard hitting opportunity cost to balance out). 10% chance to increase health regeneration by double (to allow possibility of only 20 basic attacks before 40% regen is achieved).
Reflective Scales (moved to Earthern Heart).
Inhale (unmoved). Absorbes 2% weapon damage per enemy hit. (No longer works for health). Deals 12 (up from 11) damage per enemy hit. (no longer wait requirement).
Passives
Burning Heart (Moved up). Increases fire weapon enchant damage by 10%. (Changed to increase fire enchant damage).
Iron skin (Moved down). Increases armor and spell resistance after blocking for 4 sec. (added vague terms and bonuses apply only after you need it).
Elder Dragon (unmoved). Increases Max Health by 4% when a Draconic Power ability is slotted. (changed from regeneration to max).
Scaled Armor (unmoved). Increase Spell Resistance by 2. (unchanged, but bugged to .2)
So what really got hit hard?
Dragon blood, DK's best health regeneration, go hit absurdly hard with no real way to work around it. Also everything snares oddly now. The one good synergy now does an escape? Also AoE abilities do less.
What's odd?
Burning heart doesn't seem to do much of anything. Inhale is now odd. Increase weapon damage? And how did Petrify get in there?
So where am I going with this? This is what NB's siphoning ability line looks like and what our shadow passives look like. It got really weird didn't it? There's nice abilities and such there but it's not as good as they could be. Some just don't seem to fit (we're looking at you agony/petrify) as they don't seem to do what that line is all about.
So what does everyone else think? Does this look like something you'd want to play using? Can you take a actual draconic power ability and reverse it with correct useage to a nightblade siphoning ability?
