What new vanity pets would you like to see? and what level of depth for them?

What pets would you like to see? What depth would like them to have?

My ideal pet is a cat.

Things I would like:

Interactions and emotes for them (/play, /fetch, /spaz out )
They could grow with you.
They could bring you gifts.
They could interact with each other.

Your thoughts and ideas?

Wolf. If only because I like wolves and my current character is Bosmer.

Most of the bandits in the Rift summon bears. Looks like the wood elf ability the last games had.

@Sakiri I do too. Hopefully we can get domesticated versions of all species. I'd like a housecat in town, but a panther when I'm out exploring for example.

You should be able to feed the strays in town, feed them enough, limited to once per day or something, then they become your pet. This could encourage poeple to run around town more too making towns "feel" full and alive.

The only thing that annoys me with them is when I can hear the sounds of them.

EQ2 has wolf pups. Constantly make bark sounds. The monkey makes me want to punch something, as do clannfear and and the twilight's singing.

Bantam Guar! Oh my goodness they are too adorable. I'm not exactly sure what emotes they would do, though.

I want a dog...I also want a companion, he doesn't have to do anything, ideally he would look like Terry Gilliams squire character from Holy Grail, maybe have him follow me around with two coconut halves.

Pony guar/bantam guar for me. They're adorable, and I always imagined my Nerevarine retired to a quiet life of guar herding anyway! I don't mind too much about emotes but it would be nice if it were obvious the pets belonged to you, stayed quite close and so on.

Maybe they should only make noise if you pet them or something. Although, it was amusing in the bank in Davon's Watch when the manager was giving his rant about 'if you continue to disobey the rules I shall have to call the guard!', punctuated and followed by wild monkey screaming...

As I said before, some auto actions and basic commands for fun.
They could eat insects and rats, start fights among themselves, poo and pee at unexpected places, bugging NPCs.

Ideally, fight with you if it suits their species. I understand, however, this could turn summoned daedra a bit useless and remove some unique aspects/advantages of mages.

I'd like Alfiq or Pahmar as pet though looking at size of Senche-Tiger in game domesticated Senche-Tiger would be nice too.

He/she could be your hunting dog and fetch you provisioning mats tho!!
