Little thing bugging me is the naming of materials used in crafting. In prior ES games ebony was the 2nd best and daedric the best this was for general materials. This seems to be ,ore or less in place if the game cap was 50, ebony is the lvl 50 end material. But what is a bit baffling is veteran materials that i don't recognise from previous games. Why isn't say ebony at vet 6+ and other materials or current ones filling out the middle tiers? Is this a symptom of 'after the fact' veteran layers tacked on but not part of original design? (looking fairly likely playing vet implementation).
I find same is true of foods but in a differing way. With the food the pattern is 6 items per tier, 3 food and 3 drinks. But the duplication of the system gets silly. As the item types are unchanging making a bewildering offering of grapes, hops and cereals to cater for beers, breads, wines etc. Yet oddly 'common' foods like vegetables are used in only purple recipes. And even foods you find you can't make... like cheese. I'm sure the same system could be remade with better naming variety and broader range of food types for a stat or regen type.
