Wasn't so forbidden when I collected the bones and scales from his carcass and fashioned brand new armor out of it.Maybe an expansion as quest givers. That dragon, kill him forbidden you are.
I'm not sure what you're trying to get across with this post, are you trying to say The Throat of the World and 7,000 steps aren't apart of The Rift? Because it most certainly is, you can walk up the first couple of steps in Ivarstead, but there's a collapsed tree blocking the path, but I greatly look forward to Whiterun and Markarth eventually being added to the game, especially Markarth.wardmclarkub17_ESO wrote: »Maybe the 7,000 steps and the Throat of the World will unlock when they open up the Whiterun Hold? I'm not sure that zone was part of the Rift in Skyrim, and it may not be here either.
This is where there has to be some flexibility in the lore between a single player game and an MMO. Betheseda in the old days couldnt predict there would be an MMO, so some adjustments will have to be made to allow for the content that we would like to see.
This game could follow a natural flow of the games series, so maybe several years down the road, this MMO would catch up to Skyrim.
Just saying people should not expect to be able to reach the top of the Throat of the World if they manage to visit the monastery.

Whiterun should be a mini pvp zone along the lines of Cyrodiil where you get to be Thane for 5 minutes.
The other one I'm wondering about is Yagrum Bagarn, for all the other Morrowind nerds out there. It would be pretty awesome to meet the last living Dwemer. I'm not sure when he caught Corprus, and it'd be kind of cool to meet him when he doesn't resemble a hutt.
Also, Divayth Fyr, his caretaker, should be around at this point as well, though maybe at this point still a young sorcerer.
