Weapons counting towards set bonus?

I'm trying to find out if weapons are supposed to count towards set bonus'. I'm pretty sure they -are- supposed too, but for me they are not. I'm trying to craft two sets at the moment; ashen grip and death's wind. I can do both if weapons count but for some reason it wont count until I have 3 ARMOR of the set, leaving me with only one set as an option. Can anyone give a definitive answer on this?

I get my set bonus from dualwielding daggers.... i lose the bonus if i switch to my secondary weapon

So it should count weapons then? I'm still not able to work out if it's functioning incorrectly though.

Well it does count weapons on my seducer set anyway, with the 2 daggers equiped I have 3 highlighted in the set description, without the daggers I don'r.

Yeah, I switched the set and worked out what you were saying. It's a bit annoying as it means I'm one item down for two complete sets but at least the mystery is solved. Thank you!

Some sets are bugged, some never proc, some can't handle 'mixed' type.
Sounds like the set you are using is bugged that way, log it

I run magnus, seducer and ashen grip and all 3 appear to work. They worked when I was running DW swords and they work with swd/shield, or at least the appear to...I think I put the magnus on them, and it's harder to test, might go back to ashen grip, its real apparent if that isn't working.
