Trust me on this, we've been there, done that. Yes on these forums. We really don't want to go back to the way it was. There is a flag feature for posts that are counter to the TOS, abusive, etc. Beyond what needs a moderators attention, I.E. flag, we really don't need trolls visiting the profile of everyone they disagree with only to systematically down vote every post that user has ever made. That is exactly where we were many months ago in closed beta on these boards. The best tool you have against a poster you don't like is indifference. Leave them alone, or post a counter argument that illustrates why you don't like a particular thing, or things that were posted.For all the millions of pages of codified law we have enacted in this nation alone, all of it, every word, sentence, paragraph and nuance, is steeped in the singular idea of this:
