Considering I didn't even know about it and all Jute I get is vendored anyway, yea I don't really see the issue from a personal perspective.

That being said, let's blow up the bots with extreme prejudice :)

I decided to give ESO one more try last night after listening to a podcast about the Elder Scrolls series in general that softened by black heart.

I really like the little starter islands a lot, but they were covered in bots glitching around at 5 AM. It was so embarrassing. I've never seen such a concentrated bot presence in a game of this caliber before.

The game simply wasn't ready for release. There are problems in nearly every aspect of ESO. They probably got rushed but it's still a shame.

Real players taking crafting mats from the world they don't intend to use and vendoring them for cash annoys me more than bots doing it personally. Bots will be bots, it is what they do.

Players doing it are actively making a choice to take a resource they won't use and don't really value away from another player who would use it and value it, and that's pretty lame if you ask me.

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

Oh I assign a great value to Jute. It fills my bank up with gold. You can buy it in pretty much any guild store for the same cost as just vendoring it btw, it's not like it's in short supply!

Considering how these things have been handled maybe they don't want to see material sell values reduced to zero in a future patch.

Report them but be descriptive as possible as to the location, turn off grass and then check screenshot option and with landmarks in the back ground. That should help devs, pin point which Jute nodes do that. /bug in game chat.

You are overleveled. You only need l3v3l 3 for a hireling.

I have lots of 100 stacks, I sell em' when they pile up but it's because I have a set of crafters for my army. 8 chars, one mule, 4 crafters, 8 hirelings, I think, and 3 fighters.

My son and I get all new every even level. We don't spend much on repairs.

Then I guess I am doing it wrong.

It is a game and your play style is no more valid than mine. If all the bots and players exploiting doesn't bother you then good for you (probably exploiting the nodes yourself) but it bothers a lot of people.

You don't seem to understand economics and what we call, "Supply and Demand". It works this way in the real world for many commodities; are you saying you don't want this aspect of real life in a MMO game? Where you are bumping shoulders with other people? Lulz, and in real life we get robots to do things also.

Yes a lot of people do need to get some perspective on what's important in life and what isn't. Getting upset over a game isn't doing yourself one bit of good, it's SUPPOSED to be enjoyable and relaxing... not stressful and frustrating (that's what real life for).

There is this thing, yes, it's called supply and demand, but normally the supply comes from players who harvest a lot and do so naturally. In a game I still "sometimes" play, you have an ability to track resources, its a skill you get pretty much at the start to aid with crafting in your chosen professions, and when I end up with more of something than what I need, or all of something I do not need as I have no desire to go down a specific path yet collect anyway as its on the way to a resource I DO covet, I tend to sell those other resources to other players, for a often modest sum of game coin. This is economy, and is completely natural. Its what happens when one player has too much of something that another player really covets and so can sell to that other player. There is nothing at all wrong with that, and should be championed in any MMO, let the players help each other.

What IS unnatural though, is people who create bots to go resource farming, with the sole intention of selling that resource for eventually ludicrous sums of game coin simply to send to a gold bot on the same account [or is the same damn bot, who knows?] to then try and SELL that game coin for REAL money. As in ACTUAL real money £$ etc. So yes, I think that is wrong, and horrible and should be stamped out asap, as should, in my opinion anyone who farms a mat with no crafting in mind who simply does it for coin gain and just to clarify, on that game I spoke of the mats I farmed which I didn't need, I still had craft proficiencies to acquire, I only don't have a NEED for the items those resources make. So no, I am NOT being hypocritical here as I did need those mats I would sell for craft proficiency, as part of a set of craft skills that are related.

What an ironic charge coming from a well known gold seller like yourself.

*see you're not the only one that can toss around completely baseless accusations, in the future you might want to demonstrate a little class and not insert yourself into conversations that you're clearly not equipped to handle.

its been a month full of exploits.

first 2 days alliance campaign 20Kill players qeust coulda be redone and redone and redone *exploiting the qeust* (Nothing has been done against the players exploiting it they just made it daily)

Duping from Day 1 for 2 weeks till it got fixed 2 weeks of duping lol (Nothing has been done shoulda been a full wipe at that moment)

Srr but if you shitting about a couple of guys farming Jute seems your just jalous you cant exploit it yourself

This post just blows my mind. A lot of non crafters gather resources to sell for cash. I mean a stack of jute sells for 400G to a vendor, and they stack, meaning the bag to gold ratio is pretty nice when you have such a limited inventory. I'd rather have 4 stacks of jute, ore, and wood that would be worth 1600g to a vendor for an immediate sell instead of 4 weapons worth 40G. So as folks are running around and they happen to see a jute, or any other crafting node on their path, they have just as much right to pick it as any crafter.

It's called income, and yes even non crafting folks need it to advance their character.

Since the going rate for jute to actual "crafters' seems to be about 500g to 600g per stack on average, I'd just as soon not spam zone chat for 30 minutes - and lose out on 30 minutes of my valuable playtime, just to make an extra 100g to make sure a "self entitled crafter" gets the mats.

When I started playing I tried to sell my mats by advertising in zone chat. "Stacks of Iron ore - 600g per",etc. and it's not like they sold super quick. Some of us just got tired of trying and vendor them instead.

Now as I get higher in level, and mats become more valuable vs what vendors offer - maybe we'll take the time to make sure you "self entitled crafters" get your mats!
