with the zillions of posts of this and that can you include a thumbs up and down so we can skip the trolls and unwelcome posts . if the post gets to many thumbs down
it is put in the trash can.
a general post section would be nice,

Such user-derived 'moderation' always ends up badly .. not least because your average forum dweller considers anyone disagreeing with them as a 'troll' and would mark-down all such posts without fear of retribution for abusing the system.

Such a thump up and down does exist at other forums, but guess what. The biggest hate post´s are thumped up, while good idea´s are not.

Lots of people don't come to a forum to get information or for talking, but to drop their hate on the game. If they then see someone who disagrees or likes the game, they automatically use thump down :(

But since we have an agree button, we might could get the disagree back?

I've seen forum rating systems before, over the years, and while the vast majority of forum users are sensible, rational people, a sizeable minority are not. They inevitably use it as a tool to further their trolling.

Labels are nothing new in forums. If a person dislikes a feature and posts about it they are labeled a "hater" by those who disagree with them. If they like a feature and try to defend it they are labeled a "fanboy". The reality is that there are trolls in both groups who perpetuate both stereotypes. Each side of an issue is generally blind to their own offences and will slap a label or a "thumbs down" on anything they take offense to. (real offense or not)

I've administered and moderated more than a few forums in my time and I can definitely say that any "karma" type system that allows members to give a negative rating of any kind will be abused.

They are the bane of any forum that tries to keep civil debate as it's focus and should be avoided whenever possible.
