Legendary Traits

So, this idea is for the HARDCORE crafters out there.

My idea, basically once you have researched 8 traits in a tree they go from white to green and you have to research them all again to get to blue and so on until you had researched legendary traits.

There could be things like if you have everything researched in a tree so like all heavy armour researched you could get a +10% speed to researching further traits.

There could be crafting quests, that range from easy to hard with a reward that lets you speed up research by hours/days with a maximum amount set per week.

Any feedback on this? A good idea, how would you improve upon it or what is fundamentally wrong with it?

    The basic idea definitely sounds fun. A bit like SWG with the crafts that took weeks or months :D

    A little obstacle that I see right now is the current difficulty of the game. If we make new traits, that are maybe 5 % stronger each time how will this work out in the end in regards of the balance?

    Weill we create super duper chars that face no more challenges in the game? Right now the traits are balanced around the current difficulty, I am afraid if we add newer & better traits this might change and we players might become too strong.

    However, if the new VR zones might adjust to such an additional crafting idea, then it might work. This however, might make crafting mandatory for all if they want to go to VR zones that are released in future.

    While I would love that, I wonder if others would do so as well? Nevertheless, I would support such a boost to crafting, in my opinion crafting in a good MMO is always as useful or powerful as the toughest pve or pvp battle reward.
