To the new player,
Many of us big time Elder Scrolls fans got to beta test this game. We loved it. So much so we screamed for it to be released as soon as possible. We even told them we could deal with the minor bugs, game-play balancing etc, etc, while they continued to work on it. We just wanted to play it and most of us feel it was smooth enough to be released. We said we would be patient if ZOS could let us play now.
With that in mind, you might hear many people putting a lot of effort into adding they're suggestions and giving feedback into the game via the forums. However, you will also hear many people who were not a part of the Beta testing team either trash talk the game or make unkind remarks about the people who make this great game. You will hear from people who rush to get to the end game only to find out that they might have to wait a bit for the game to sort out issues and catch up. The game has only been out for about 5 weeks or so. It should come as no surprise that you wont get 10 years of refinement in the first month.
My advice is to play the game and if you encounter an issue, then by all means, make it known in a positive and constructive manner and it will be addressed. As a beta tester I can attest that they do in fact care about us and if they can make an idea or suggestion work, then they will at the very least consider it. We have talked about improvement and fixes and ZOS has heard us and are making some exciting future patch updates.
So, to finalize my thoughts; Play the game for yourself, don't get in a hurry, just relax, the game just came out and it's only the beginning. Don't let others negativity or immaturity ruin the game for you.
You play your game for yourself and make your own mind up. Hopefully I'll see you in game!
Very Respectfully,
Me.
