Does anyone know if there are risks to allowing complete strangers onto your contact list? I would like to build my contact list as I run dungeons with other players, but I'm concerned that I may be opening myself up to hacking attacks in some way.

It would boggle my mind if adding people to your contact list would open you up from a security perspective. It would really be insane, and a huge oversight of Zeni if that happened. That being said though, if you accidently added, say a botter, they might get you flagged to receive spam? I'm just going out on a limb though, I've added random people from vet dungeon runs who I felt were really good (= I wouldn't restrict yourself because of a small possibility, but it's up to you.

I think I'll just start adding people and see what happens. My ultimate agenda is recruiting for my guild, but I like to see how they are in game for a while before extending an invite.

I like to adventure as much as anyone, but sometimes I like to do goofy stuff in the game just for the heck of it. I've seen other players doing the same kind of things and those are the folks I want to put on my contact list.

For example, recently my horse and I were attempting to tight rope walk on a railing near a boss monster. I was making circus style commentary about myself as I attempted the feat. Totally weird, but it passes the time while waiting for re-spawns!

As a side note, broken quest areas might be some of the most entertaining places in Tamriel! Just go hang around one for a while and see for yourself!
