Leveling "Undaunted" guild skill line? how?

Maybe someone can give me a hint, but I´m vet5 and leveled the undaunted guild to level 3.7 (around 110 from 150). Actually I never understood how I have done it.

I cleared all group dungeons before veteran level and made 3 group dungeons as veteran. I also made almost every single and group dungeon on the map.

However, can someone please tell me how I can continue to level this guild?
Doing solo dungeons (did 2 in cyrodiil) didn´t level the guild at all.

Is there a way to "farm" xp for this guild. I really would like to have it to level 5 to access all skills.

I tried to do some of the achivements (like killing certain rare bosses in public dungeons) but somehow it seems that I only get the achivement when I either a) last hit the boss or b) do more damage then all others. (tested it with a friend). Not sure about that

so, maybe someone can help me please. what can I do to level it?

There is no way to farm it. you get 10 points for clearing a dungeon the first time. that's it

nope.. skills don´t level this guild.same like mage guild works only with collecting books. yeah, well.. how do you get level 5 then? has it something to do with the achivements? do I need to do the dungeon achivements? .. I don´t understand, there just seems no direct way to level it.. and on the other side I don´t know how many dungeons are left over -.-

Wouldn't you level this skill line by having those skills on your bar (or passives)? Just like every other skill line?

I have yet to take an Undaunted skill, but that's the behavior I'd expect.

I have never equipped a skill of that skill line and have level 3
so I guess it has nothing to do with that. you get points for doing dungeons, I know. But there must be other ways. There are just not enough dungeons in this game atm (from my point of view)

No. That's not how guild skill lines work.

However.

I am absolutely certain that I've gotten Undaunted XP from having an Undaunted skill in my bar when killing a boss in a group dungeon. So that's the only addendum I'd make to the existing posts.

so, as far as I can see that, after checking the tooltip ingame you get XP for making the dungeon achivements. this would make sense, because every time you do a dungeon quest you get a achivement. for veteran dungeons the achivements are way harder and take longer, thats why the progress is so slow. if someone can confirm this it would be great.

Uhmm.. I know guild skills level - my silver bolts are at level 3 and I've only killed the witch from the first quest line. Mages guild get at least one level from lore books..

Most skills line level by having a skill load and just normal exp EXCEPT
"Undaunted" from dungeon achievements only (instanced, not public)
"Mage" from lore books only
"Werewolf" from kills in werewolf form
"Fighter" from killing undead and daedra but this one is easy to level as so many mobs of this type (dark anchors are good)

As a lot of dungeon achievements are broken, its hard to level this.
Doing all the normal dungeons should get you to around 3.7 in this
Doing all the vets dungeons should get you to around 5.2 in this

To level the SKILL you get from theses lines tho, you just load it on your bar like normal.

I'm pretty sure that you can not max the Undaunted skill line yet.

My guess is that you'll be able to level more with the upcoming new adventure zones ...

Do you get them every time or just first runs.

Undaunted skill line counts only the group and veteran dungeons achievements.
If you check your achievements tab,you can see it's 10 points for clearing each of the normal ones and a lot of different ones for the veteran dungeons.
Like,kill x number of enemies or bosses,or complete in 20 minutes etc.
Also,there are achievements for 1 million damage or healing etc.
I have cleared all 16 normal dungeons once and the first 3 veteran ones,once each again and i miss only 10 points for rank 4
But that is as a healer,as a tank or dps it probably would be better,cause you can get easily the damage and blocking achievements.
An important notice is that the majority of these achievement points regards only the veteran dungeons and in order to reach rank 4 and 5 you are required to farm them a bit.A friend of mine who has done all dungeons,except the 3 vr6 ones,at least 3-4 times each is rank 4 but not 5 yet.

I was wondering about that too. Although, I did notice that once I reached v1 and went to Auridon, I got a quest similar to the one I completed at the beginning of Daggerfeld. They basically asked me to if I wanted to join, and I asked them the same questions I asked in Daggerfeld, (what will this do for me ..etc), and then they gave me an assignment. I have yet to complete it to see if it leads to anything else, but I'm hopeful.

I think guild skills work like this.

Fighter Guild raises each time you kill undead and daedra, and for doing the story line. You also get FG exp when you close a dark anchor.

Mage Guild exp is gained by finding lore books and doing their story line.

Undaunted exp is gained by getting dungeon achievements. So any achievement that can be completed in a dungeon whether it be public or group will give exp one time only to the undaunted skill line.
When you equip a skill from undaunted it will only raise that skill not the whole skill line. I have a maxed out Blood Altar and morphed it to Sanguine Altar helps when I play the role of ranged dps in dungeons.

It has a taunt though, good for tanks. But other then that, yea nothing i want on my skillbar, blood altar is nice but mana cost and cast time makes it not so nice.

pretty sure the vamp skill line levels from normal xp even without a vamp skill slotted....

edit: also the fighter skill line does also level from closing the dark anchors... (interacting with the glowing thingies that you need to close to complete the event) and I think it also levels from simply completing a dark anchor

I guess your not lvl5 undaunted, so how can you know how the skills are

I think that too that you level undaunted by making the dungeon achivements. however, do you only get 10xp points for a achivement or do you get the achivement points as xp? some of them give 50 points (which would be to much I guess, but the achivements are really hard)..

Just want to know .. because if everything only gives 10 xp then I do the easy ones first xD

@dakhon‌ you can buy a drink for the Undaunted in every zone for the achievement "This One's on Me". It is worth 15 points

All the veteran dungeons have an Undaunted Challenge in addition to the Achievement. Sometimes its killing the boss in a certain amount of time, sometimes it is completeing the fight w/o using certain mechanics. Like the protective bubble from that wayshrine that protects your party during one of the boss fights. (Cant remember which one ATM)
So....you should rank up your Undaunted skill line when first completing each of the group dungeons, again when completing the veteran version, and additional Undaunted XP by completing the Undaunted challenge in each vet group dungeon.

There's a difference between leveling a skill, and leveling a skill line. When you have an undaunted skill like blood alter on your bar, only blood alter levels, not the undaunted skill line. That only levels by going through dungeons.

I have seen level 45 toons using the nova skill, so there is some way to max out undaunted before hitting veteran, they wouldn't respond but I keep asking how to others I see and even the support which sucks.

Isn't Nova skill from the Templar tree and has nothing to do with undaunted skill lines?

not quite sure what he means with nova, but leveling undaunted (if there is no exploit) is only possible when doing achivements for "general" or the veteran dungeon achivements (and group dungeons)

This is a HUGE pet peeve for me. It only makes sense that at least doing the guild quests would help you level them.

I think that you also get xp for buying the undaunted drinks in the taverns.

EDIT: second thought maybe that is just an achievement.

im lvl 5 undaunted and you get it by first off completing all the dungeons ofcourse but all achievements under the 'dungeon' achievement thing give 10 exp (excluding some), and some big ones like giving drinks at all undaunted meetings give like 50exp

50xp thats awesome. Thought it was less. Do you know how much the healing/dps/block achiev gives?

And while we r at it. Necrotic orb have you used it? If so could you tell a bit about it?
