Advice on VeteranLVLs & Pre-order Treasure Maps

So I have these nice 4 containers, thankfully on my inventory mule, full with all these treasure maps.

I already used up all starter Island and 1st region maps with my alts, before it occurred to me that maybe it would be wiser to wait till I (have ) to get there on my main during the Veteran "re-runs".

What did you do?
Shredded the wrappings like on Christmas, or waited to maybe have an easier time during Veteran?

Using them in the veteran versions of the zones are a little bugged, some scale, some don't. It appears weapons and shields do not scale (L6) but the armor does (V8)...

This was before this latest patch so maybe its fixed now.

I deleted all mine, inventory space is bad enough but to have it filled with a bunch of T maps .....

So you didn´t figure out that you can just leave the 4 containers intact and take out the maps you need ...

Though it does suck that the character that takes the containers out of the mail can´t put them into the bank, just the maps.

There is no reason to save those Maps for later.
Level of loot inside of treasure maps are same as the level of location.
Also, this loot is useless in VR because items inside dont have any traits, only enchants. So you can find or craft better gear.
This maps only helpfull for gearing up on low levels because they are pretty nice for low level characters.
I usualy get 1-2 blue weapons, 2 blue armor pieces and 1 green armor.

Believe it or not, I still have not received the pet or treasure maps from my pre-order even after numerous emails to customer service dating back to March.

Guess those numerous emails got lost in the ether or to where ever ZOS is outsourcing their customer service.

@wrlifeboil‌ you only get the pre-order things after entering the separate gift code.
Which I embarrassingly had overlooked while waiting a whole day for my things.

I got the pet but no maps. I just recently sent a note requesting them and they sent them to me the other day.
