A few questions regarding levelling weapon skills
Hi guys,
Just wanna ask, I am currentlty VR2 and I am powerleveling my destro staff skill line. I already know to equip them everytime I turn in a quest so within 1 VR level I managed to get it to 29 from 0. Atm I didnt put a single skill point into any of the skills there, as I am only waiting for Impulse which is at level 38 destro. My question is :
1. If I open all the other skills, does it help with levelling the destro staff level or do I actually have to put them on the hotbar? Mind you I am looking to only level the destro staff level but dont give a crap about the skill itself
2. If I have to put them on the hotbar, do I have to have staff equipped while questing? Does putting destro skills on a hotbar while lets say using a bow actually help level the destro staff level or only the destro staff skill which is put on there?
Sorry if this comes off as a bit confusing. Basically I only want the fastest way to pwrlevel the destro to 38, and if possible, I dont wanna spend any SPs for the other skills as I dont plan to respec again.

if you get the outfitter addon you can swap out skill sets fairly easily-i have a "Quest" skill set which is all the skills i want to level that i never use for normal play, I equip it when handing in quests.0
