ESO MAINTENANCE FOR PATCH V1.0.7

Hello, everyone!

Starting tomorrow, May 5th, we will be performing scheduled maintenance on both the North American and European megaservers.
The North American megaserver will be brought down at 8:00am EDT / 1:00pm BST on Monday, May 5.
The European megaserver will be brought down at 6:00am CEST / 5:00am BST on Tuesday, May 6.

During this maintenance, we will be pushing patch v1.0.7. The patch notes will be available once the North American megaserver is back online, and we anticipate each maintenance lasting a few hours.

We'll update this thread once each server goes down, and comes back online. Thanks!"

Why don't they posted the patch notes before / during the down time for that we have something to read while we wait for the hamsters to be loved on and feed their 2x weekly moon sugar?

They usually do. So presumably there is a reason they're delaying the patch notes this week, and we're never going to know whether it's due to a vast global conspiracy or due to Ted, the social media intern, being stuck in traffic.

It may be that they aren't sure if they'll be able to cleanly implement it all, so they're waiting until they're done to announce the changes. It invites less trouble than saying they'll update something, then removing it later and dealing with complaints.

It might be some exploit fixes and they don't want to announce the exploit before its fixed.
However they could keep that part out until done and post other fixes.

I don't expect them to post information about bot/ spammer traps and so on at all.

Curious about what they fix, while many hate on ESO I yet have to find a really big issue.

One quest at Stonefalls was bugged but that's it and since 1.03 the stuttering is also gone.

Still, I would love a real 64 bit client, a multi core utilization patch and of course some hair fix

More than likely as said above, they're trying some experimental fix for something controversial, for example vampire bugs... and other things people complain about a lot.
and rather than announce they'll fix it and than have it not work than have people complain again, they will probably just release what they can get done.

good solid logical thinking on their part if so i'm glad these minds are working on this game.

They are doing it because it's huge and has tons of skill fixes that people will call nerfs /figuresCrossed

Well I'd say that 50% more damage from fire can be considered a downside

Not to mention silver bolts. It's pretty much an I-win against daedra and undead, which vampires fit into nicely.

Are you serious? Yeah every time we die we lose all passive buffs (bug) and need to relog. If we don't we just get the vamp debuffs. -75% health regen, +50% fire dmg.

Do you mean are there any negatives to being a DK? No, not one.

Yeh after one night of VR dungeons I decided the gains weren't enough to outweigh this and got mahself cured the next morning.

Since ESO staff always say they read evrything maybe il get lucky on getting an asnwer on this.

How do you feel about people that made around 2-3million alliance points in around 1 week with the broken ultimate skill. And why are these exploiters (bug abusers not getting punished like its stated in your agreement users before you play the game)

dont get me whrong but if people cant stand a couple of bugged qeusts but they can stand that there been exploiting and duping i wonder how many people really duped???? i deleted a guy out of my friend list because he duped he stil playing lol.

so i geuss no one got punished for duping or they had to punish 45% of the people playing.

Im not expecting to get an answer on this if i do get an answer maybe you can convince me to stay for a little longer. i love the game but i aint playing on a MEGASERVER where there's been MEGADUPING

They fixed the exploit, so whining about it now is a little over-the-top, don't you think?

And most people didn't even know about the duping exploit until it was fixed. People who did dupe were banned (feel free to check the forums from that time to see all the threads from people claiming they'd been framed).

I had just spent about 15000 in listing fees before I had logged out for maintenance. I am such a lucky fellow.

Any short-term economic blips from the duping have already been ironed out. You are reacting a month late.

Listing fees are refunded, so it just means you will get more back than you would have had you listed after the patch.
