Price Guide Site

Hey all,

Last night i found an Imperial Motif and naturally wanted to find its worth, i checked on here and on google but cannot seem to find a site with an up to date price guide.. not just for this but for all things, such as ore and other crafting mats (I am NA server).

I am sure one exists i just don't know where to find it.

If there are any APP creators out there this could be a good way to make some coin haha.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

There is no average price.

Different guilds have different rates and selling on zone chat will net you different results.

It's worth whatever people will pay for it.

For Imperial i'm sure you may get a good price. Depends who's looking to buy.

haha all i ever get told is "its worth whatever people will pay for it" which is fine, but doesn't help when you want to buy something, or decide whether or not you should accept the offer of the guy trying to rip you off... i know that the economy varies, and there are exceptions to the rule but for the most part there is some consistency across the board. For example the standard motifs all moved in price with each other as time went on. I also know people often spam /zone for raw mats starting at 10-12g per piece moving up to 15g depending on tier. All i want is a rough guide like that... it would suck for a new player to find an imperial motif in their first zone, think its the same as a khajiit one and sell it for 300g.

it is definitely interesting!! I made 3k yesterday showing somebody where to buy a certain type of provisioning material haha. Probably saved him a lot in the long run, and it was just by chance that i had been there earlier that day

From my experience it is best to simply actively watch prices in zone and guild chats. If you ask zone or guild what the price of an item is you are likely to get 3 or 4 different price ranges. Say for Dwarven Oil someone asked just the other day about the price for it. One person said 200-300, another said 300-500, another said 400-600. For the Imperial Motif I've seen some people say 4k, others I've seen buying it for 10k, others have said they sold it for 30k+. Take a look at prices that you see and decide somewhere in that range. Start at your top price and work your way down, haggle with people. My co-gm and I run 2 different trade guilds, we go out and find good deals, place those items into the guild banks, then sell to our members for decent prices. That way instead of having to spend hours in zone trying to buy or sell something they can come straight to us. Because we do things this way we had to come up with our own price list for easy reference. We share a Microsoft Office price list that has our target price, bulk price (10+ of an item), and our minimum selling price. This way we know how low we can go while haggling. Even having a handwritten list with a price on a few common items is a big help if you're buying and selling often. Anyways I hope this helped some as I do not know of any sites with updated price lists.
