I propose buffing lower level players in PvP

I just hit VR1 and instantly noticed a massive difference in survivability. My armor doubled, and I got massive boosts to all attributes. If VR1 = level 50, then the level 50 scaling that takes place when characters are below level 50 is in need of some serious tender loving care.

I would personally enjoy PvP a lot more if progression was driven less by level, and more by skill. I'd love to be able to engage a level 10 newbie, or a level 35, knowing it was going to be more of a fair fight. I'm also tired of seeing VR10s walk around, shield extended, spamming bat swarm, I know the latter is being addressed in an upcoming patch, but how about scaling up lower level players more aggressively too? Particularly those below VR1.

Now don't get me wrong - I'm OK with some innate "strength" differences between levels - i.e. VR10 SHOULD be more powerful than a VR1. But the delta between VRs and sub-VRs is simply too great, in my opinion. This is more of a problem now than it was 2 weeks ago given the recent influx of a TON of VR10s (most of whom appear to be vamps).

It's more the fact that level 10s don't have the skill sets to compete than they don't have the strength.

I'm not sure there's much else they can really do to make them any more competetive.

Skill can still bridge the gap somewhat between a low level and a veteran, I'm by no means a highly skilled player and I've killed vets. I also noticed a big leap at level 30. Maybe it's just because I got access to better skills, but I'm more survivable now.

The best advice for a lowbie in AvA is to get a group and stick with them. Find a guild and level AvA that way.

There is a difference in Cyradiil.
VR10 still get the VR2 softcaps, sometimes, it's random and bugged.

The lack of skillpoints will never be able to bridge the gap for a low player.

The Cyradiil buffm applies to everyone, even the VR10's, so there is very little up-scaling a newbie gets.

The PVP is point based and Level based.
Skill only comes into it when the Level's are a Match.. and the other player isn't a DK abusing Ulti reduction, or a Sorc with Bolt Escape and ulti reduction.

    Advice for new players:
Just re-roll a DK, their skills are broken and exploitable, and if you look at the skill balance patch notes for craglorn, they have no changes and will probably be abused for another 6months before ZOS just nerfs all class's randomly for no reason, except the Sorc obviously.

No don't, I am not anywhere near VR yet, but I don't see why if I enter PvP I should be leveled to a level where I am as powerful as someone who is VR10 or whatever...

Leave it as it is I say.
Who has time? But if we never take time how can we ever have time?
