Achievements Questions

I have not been able to find any information about two things in the achievements lists.

1) What are collectibles and how often do they show up? Is this thing bugged? Does the level of the monster/mob matter in this? I have yet to find any of them on any of the numerous mobs I have killed ( already killed 1000 beasts and nearly that many undead). Is the collectible an actual item or just another tick on our list?

2) Where do I find crafting sacks? I have looked throughout every crafting station (for sets) and in all my explorations all i have found is a "Heavy Sack" that often has either a rune or motif stone(s). Were these intended originally to be the "crafting sacks"? Is the count bugged because I still have zero crafting sacks?

    1) Collectibles are probably referring to trophies, which are rewards for specific quests.

    2) That's probably referring to the supply bags sent by hirelings.

You obviously have no clue what you are talking about.

The collectibles according to the achievement list are supposed to come from specific types of mobs. I have yet to find one such item. Do they even really exist?

The crafting bags according to the achievement list is supposed to be lootable. I have hirelings but my crafting sacks list is still zero.

For an obsessive compulsive completionist this is most disturbing.

You find heavy bags in random locations. They have nothing whatsoever to do with the hirelings. I usually find people running right past them, but then I'm the loot it all type. They are sort of a greenish colour with gold trim. Haven't gotten anything terribly exciting from them. Won't stop me from looting them though.

Maybe that's why he used the word probably? Why do you hate on people for trying to help each other?

@fatsheep, trolling for the sake of getting post counts is really low. You didnt even try to answer my questions.

@Azarul, I would appreciate some real help in these questions as no one seems to understand what I am asking.

The heavy sacks I get but they do not count on my crafting sack list of achievements. What I want to know is do crafting sacks exist or not? If they do exist where are they? Why has no one else asked this question? Why is there no good information about the problem?

Collectibles are listed as items that are dropped from specific mobs. Why have I not gotten a single one? Collectibles are not trophies. There is no list for trophies. Why is there no information about the collectibles? Do they even exist?

Does any one even take the time to read the entire post?

Pretty sure neither of these are working in the game. I have nothing on either one and I have looted every possible sack in the game. Also Ive killed 1000s of mobs no collectables.

I haven't heard of collectibles of any kind dropping from specific mobs. Possibly and old feature that was taken out of beta, or it could be VR10 content only. And after doing a little more digging, some people are speculating that crafting sacks can only be fished up.

And possibly no one else has asked these questions because those achievements don't actually impact your gameplay.

Heavy bags tend to contain racial style stones or runes,
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Don't believe they are implemented yet. I've no concrete proof, but I have not seen any crafting sacks and have not taken in one "collectible" from a kill. I would figure across 5 characters I would have found one so far, but no, nothing.

    ^^This

Not one single collectible on any of my toons. By now I'd expect that I had looted at least one. As for crafting sacks, I've heard people mention that you can get them from fishing/hirelings, but I've never seen one, so I think those are just people speculating.

I think those achievements are just placeholders at the moment for future expansion.

I believe that those things come from fishing. But since fishing is bugged right now, nothing can be actually collected or found.

I got three things from fishing, one was a book or a journal and two fish. Nothing of that however actually appeared in my inventory nor my lore book or achievement tab.

Still, it is very much also possible that mobs could drop these items and they are as bugged as the fishing "drops" are right now.

Many achievements are still at 0 on my char. While I didn't explore VR content yet and am far away from 50, I finished stonefalls, fished maybe 200 things out of the sea opened each chest, bag and read all books - still nada.

With 1.1 they fix fishing they said, so maybe we will know more then.

<3:)B) Thanks to all who took the time to read and thoughtfully comment.

FYI I have gotten two rare fish in Grahtwood and one in Greenshade. I do get the occasional wet bag or whatever they are called and those are interesting but they still don't count toward collectible or crafting sacks.
