Enchanting question.

So I was trying to get level 40 enchanting to get the best possible enchantment for when i make my awesome VR10 gear, but then it hit me.. Do you really need enchanting 40? because you only unlock more potency runes, but the ones you use (or at least i am going to use) aren't potency runes level 9 but i will be using a mix of level 4 and 6.. So do I really need 40 or do I just need the enchanting level to use legendary (gold) aspect runes for the best enchantment for my gear?

Because that's quite a level difference and I really wouldn't mind not going the extra mile for nothing :)

Logically you need to get to whatever level where you can use Kuta aspect rune and Cura/Kude potency runes if you want to make an awesome gear for VR10. Essence runes you'd need are mostly available from early levels so it's not an issue.

Yeah but why tho? because Kuda = Negate and Cura = Intensify
And i don't want any of that!
So whatever I will be making for my VR10 armor, I won't be using Kuda and Cura.
Because you can use Kuta at level 31 and Cura/Kude at 40
Thats a 9 level gap to unlock potency runes I will not be using
Are you 100% sure that let's say I use Porade potency rune (=add effect) on my VR10 gear that I need level 40 enchanting?

Ptoency runes are what allow you to place that glyph on certain types of gear. To put an enchantment on Vet gear, you need to use the vet strength potencies.

if thats the case does that mean i can't use the Porade potency rune effect that I want on my VR10 gear? that doesn't make sense 2 me

There's a good guide to enchanting here.

You can see that level 9 potency runes Kude and Cura are required to make enchantments for VR8-10 gear. You can use Porade but your glyphs will be much weaker than what you can get with the strongest ones...
