Deleting first character?

Is it safe to delete my first created character?
I pre purchased the Imperial Edition and created this toon during Early Access.
If I delete the character, will there be any issues?

I am not aware of any issues; it is a curious question though. Try on the support section.

There shouldn't be. Just be sure to send any Imperial Edition items to another toon (such as treasure maps, pets and so on). If you don't you may lose them.

I asked there.
Also, I can't seem to transport the treasure maps to the bank. I have to open the container first and send the maps individually which will take a lot of space.
If I create a new toon, will they not receive those stuff in mail?

If you have claimed the maps and in your inventory, you must put them in the bank before deleting. Create new character and then grab them back

Not sure what happens if they are still sitting in your mailbox, but I wouldn't risk it

If stuff is still in your mail, make a new character first, then delete the old one I suppose. If you already claimed items from the mail, then they need to go in your bank before you delete your character. As for the CE Maps, the only solution right now if you have claimed them from your mail already is to create a storage alt to hold all the maps until you use them.

They specifically said to put them in your bank before deleting any characters as you will not get them back.

Yes, you need to open the containers if you want to store the maps in your bank.

Hello all,

Deleted your first character is not an issue as long as you kept your Explorer Pack/Imperial Edition items in your bank.
If you didn't and deleted all the items with your character, feel free to follow the instructions in this thread.
