+5 Free days, when will I be billed then?

If we're getting an extra 5 days of free play time and I was originally scheduled to be billed on May 4th, will that date now be moved to the 9th? My account details still say the 4th...

They will add the five days time by May 4th (72 hours as per their communication). Whether you'll be billed before that or not they aren't going to be able to post on the official forums. If you want an answer you're going to have to contact support. They aren't allowed to discuss account details on the forum.

I got an email this morning saying I was getting 5 free days, and about 10 minutes ago I got a confirmation saying they added the days to my account, and my bill date has moved back. So just wait for the second confirmation email.

They keep saying...
"Over the next 72 hours we will be providing five additional days of Game Time added automatically to the accounts of all eligible players who are currently enjoying their 30 days of included Game Time."

I just now got my "5 days free" notice and I was wondering the same thing. Will this change the billing date?

I would assume that they wont give you 5 free days until they have your sub charged. But you know what they say about assuming...

I just got mine and am now thinking it will get tagged on the end of the month (s) we pay for.

My pay date is May 5th and have set it up for 6 months. I am thinking I will see the 5 extra days tagged onto the end of 6 months. JMO.

Yet another reason why I canceled the sub. Not this particular issue but to leave no suspicions for future interactions. While I will be using prepaid time cards, they have no choice but to tag it on the end of my first 30 days.

Otherwise, I would think it's just thrown on the end of your current allowed scheduled days. A 180 days sub will show

Surely that cannot be the case but you never know until someone confirms exactly how it works.

Yup, best of luck to ya. My bill date was on the 6th for some reason prior to the announcement, so I don't have to worry. Can understand why you may be concerned if your bill date is on the same day the extra time is suppose to be added though. Good luck with Customer Service. They've been great when I've had to contact them, but some people have had bad encounters. Hopefully you get a good rep!

I cancel my sub. And to receive 5 free days i need to again subscribe game... They F kidding... (Joke... how to sell broken product for next month... Lets give *** 5 "free days" and promise about great path fix our beta game...)

Just received the email from ZOS. To give everyone an update regarding this question, for those who are also curious, the email you'll receive from ZOS contains a redemption code that will have already been applied to your account upon receipt. The initial billing dates are indeed moved forward 5 days. As an arbitrary example (:P), if you're original billing date was May 4th, it will now be May 9th.

The free days aren't showing on many people's account yet that I know of/have seen. According to the whole post they made about it, anyone who had an active account (bought the game) prior to May 1st is eligible and who are in their 30 days of game time. Which should be everyone.

@Sirmati From my own experience with MMOs, this launch has gone exceedingly well. Sure, they have been some major quest bugs, but nothing that wasn't fixed within a matter of a few days. I understand this game isn't for everyone, but the more the merrier. Hopefully we'll see you back again sometime, Sirmati!

Woot, sounds like they've started rolling it out then Mine hasn't updated yet, I keep checking though.

@Lalai I didn't contact them, though I did tag Gina, which might of expedited the process (hopefully she doesn't get tagged like crazy now, having said that ). I would think though that if you received the email with the redemption code in it, like I did, then the five days free time would have already been extended to your account. Maybe these people haven't received the actual email yet...

Hell this is pure bs, they are offering 5 days more to secure the next month sub but they will give it to you "if" you pay for that month since i have to be "active" to get those 5 days to keep testing this broken crap game (at least is what it seems) which is stupid and with the game as it is right now doesn't worth a penny more that i already pay.

But i have to deal with this kind of stupid time sinking bugs like paying *** loads of gold for repairs for being connected (not even playing or dying..) sum up the latency issues and the freeze ups every 5 seconds, i cannot dash or it get worst... to hell with your *** game.

There is a lot of better games and more on its way, ZO tell me why should i pay for this crap when i can actually enjoy the time i pay for playing a game, other MMOs or any other RPGs. I rather go spend my money on games that worth it, not only spend the money but the time which is what really worth.

I really hope i can get back in say like 3 months later thinking other way around but not going to pay for those 3 months, if i do, I'm stupid, i have nothing better to do with my time or i am actually insane.
