Color bug at crafting?

Hi there,
I have been wondering if you noticed the same thing that I did after 1.06 hit. I just crafted myself some Flint Iron Armor and if you improve the white armor to green quality, it usually changes its color as well.
This however wasn't the case now. Is this a bug?
