Since there isn't any "general gamediscussion" forum, i make this thread on this one, after all... this is a community created video.
Angry Joe is spot on, on every piece of the game - and i couldn't agree more. ESO to me, feels like something avarage. The graphics turned on MAX at 1920*1080 feels like subpar compared to any other game released as of late. The dungeons are a joke and most of the times, doesn't reward you with any loot AT ALL. A few days ago i completed Veteran banished cells a few times and didn't get any loot that i could use, everything was VR5, which is weeks away for me. When i run a dungeon, i expect REWARDING GAMEPLAY - Not grind a dungeon for a 3k gold repairbill and nothing to show for.
There really isn't anything in ESO that makes me want to login and play, no carrot or light at the end of the tunnel. The PvP is non-rewarding. Sure, taking a keep is fun... but that's all there is too it, and taking a keep is only fun for a limited number of times - then it becomes "been there done that" ... boring.
And lets not forget the "ESO Singelplayer Online", where Angry Joe makes several good remarks towards the failed system. I have NEVER played an mmo which felt so disengaging in terms of questing WITH FRIENDS, since everytime one of us progressed in a quest, they vanished. And then we have all of these SINGEL PLAYER INSTANCED BOSS FIGHTS...
WHY HAVE SINGEL PLAYER EVENTS IN AN MMO !?!?!?!.
I'm sorry but ESO will most likely not get another sub-pay from me... If i pay a sub for an mmo, i EXPECT mmo-qualities, like effective group-system with friends that work with questing. The ability to HELP FRIENDS with quests they have problems completing.
For instance, i have a friend who has issues killing Doshia.. So WTF can't i help my friend !?... This is an MMO after all, NOT a singelplayer online subscription game.
For an mmo released in 2014, with graphics looking like 2008, and the badly designed quest/group system, this "mmo" gets a 4/10 from me.
I'm just happy i didn't buy the real collectors edition, because that would've been a serious waste of money.
