DPS Templar in need of some help!

Hello!

I just made an account here and I’m excited to become a part of this awesome community.

Now let’s get to the issue at hand.

I made myself a Nord templar, I’m VR2 right now. The way I’ve been doing things is, I want him to be a mainly DPS guy, with the other build being a heals/bow build. I’m still working that one out, I might go full resto staff heals, but right now I really like the bow and heals, since I can stay away doing DPS and the bow skills use no magicka which lets me use magicka solely for heals. It’s not bad.

But I’m mostly concerned about the main build. The way I have my points is, 25 magicka, 16 health and 8 stamina.

This puts me 100 short of the magicka soft cap, but I’m at 1600 ish health.

I wear full heavy armor, I made myself a Calcinium set with all gold enchants. I have 3 magicka enchants, 2 health and 2 stamina. Most of the armor has the Infused trait to boost enchants, some has the Reinforced trait for more armor. I’m actually overcharging armor because as a Nord I already get a lot of it. I would do Infused in every piece of armor, I just didn’t learn it yet for all pieces.

I use a two handed weapon, with the armor debuff enchant.

I mostly think my DPS is ok, but I’ve been running vet dungeons lately and I seem to die too easily.

Anyone have any suggestions, comments, things I’m doing wrong maybe?
