Quest givers keep talking about children this my child that...but every time you get to these "children" they are grown adults. Yes, someones child but not children.
There really seems to be a society here with no minors.
I figured it was a matter of prioritization during development. Probably decided having children was a much lower priority than any number of other projects.
There's also never been any "half breeds" portrayed in any TES games AFAIK, although interspecies couples are quite common. It would just take a long time to create all those sub-species.
Immortal children in Skyrim, no children at all in TESO... Probably to stop child abuse in TES games, like in Morrowind where some people would get bored and kill every single living creature in the realm (except for a few who can't be killed).
"Do you want the book or not? Then go whack some people with Wabbajack!!"
If they existed they would be friendly NPC's, so attacking them wouldn't be an issue.
I suppose it would be a lot of work but I think they should add them, and said as much in one of my surveys.
yeah, I miss the little ones also -- like for Khajiits, Argonians and Orcs
idk about the argonians & orcs...but it's possible there are younger khajiits on the starter island. There's that quest where the rats are in the farm, and you grab ligntning bug eggs & throw them at the rat nests so the bugs kill the rats. In that quest chain there are khajiits of other types & they could be young.
The ones that look like tigers (tigers actually don't exist in TES), those are a different sub-type of khajiit (think different ethnicity). There's...6 or 7 sub-types, ranging from ones that look like pet cats, to ones that look like giant humans (though with the khajiit faces/tails, but much larger). It's been awhile since I looked it up, but if I remember right, the type of khajiit is determined by the phase of the moon for the birth or something.
