So I killed him at 48. I tried to do the VR1 quests and I get killed often. How should i level to VR1? Just grind? I figured the quests that I missed wouldn't give me that much xp.

✭✭✭Do everything in Coldharbour first: quest,dungeons,dolmens , world bosses. You will also have to do this in VR also to advanced from Rank to Rank efficiently. Each zone give you about 60% of a rank from quests and 40% from dungeons,dolmens , world bosses.
Go to Cyrodill and do pve quests.
Missed quest give surprisingly good exp even if they are gray or so I have seen when that happened to me.
I am a little confused though. Didn't the quest for MB open up only at lvl50? I remember I had to wait until lvl 50 for the quest to trigger.
