I have two vampires and have no idea how he has infinite ultimate during bat swarm. He is clearly hacking his toon or exploiting a glitch of some sort. This isnt the way bat swarm works at all. Being a vampire yourself, or so you say, you would know this. Something strange about this post all the way around.

It's the Emperor bonuses that allow for it. Become emperor as a vamp, and it's crazy.

Yeah, I'm talking about his 5th ability slot, not the ultimate slot used by Bat Swarm. Unless I've been struck blind, that's a morph of esohead.com/skills/27706-negate-magic. That would be an ultimate. Ergo, something is fishy about that video.

Also, watch his ultimate bar charge. The addon shows him using it when the charge is only at 7%. There is definitely an exploit of some kind at work.

Whatever this video is showing, it does NOT represent what the actual bat swarm is like.

Either this is a huge glitch/bug or a hack.

Ah, that actually explains quite a bit. Emperorship is pretty crazy with any character, but I think they need to do some tweaking if that's how it affects the vampire ultimate.

I'm still confused about that ability bar though. I'm not ready to stop calling shenanigans.

Agreed it needs tweaking, just understand that also takes time. Even WoW, which is usually pretty on top of fixing exploits, has had a few that stuck around for a long while (like mages being able to forever insta-cast pyroblast because of a skill glitching out).

I don't think it's an exploit, so much as it's the result of bad design and being able to stack Ultimate Cost Reductions. I've heard people claim to be able to reduce their ultimate cost to less than 10 points.

Agreed with that part. I think the right gear sets, passives and Emperorship bonuses could probably reduce the cost by quite a bit. But am I the only one seeing that second ultimate ability? Am I insane? I mean, I know I'm insane. But am I insane about this?

Yeah I don't know what to make of that. Unless there's an outside chance that the skill image is used more than once, or two look very very similar. :shrug: I didn't watch closely enough to see if he ever used that ability to verify what that skill slot does. He's obviously using a lot of addons, but I don't know if any addons allow you to change the icon of your skills for pure aesthetic reasons.

Ahhhh, there we go. So it's just the emperor skill line that's overpowering this.

The emperor skill line allows it to go from 4 to 0 ultimate cost, so it's not an Emperor skill line issue.

Its not exploit or hacking, its taking advantage of items / passives that gives Reduction. I dont understand why ppl instantly thinks its exploit/cheat/hack call it whatever you prefer, just zenimax get this fixed.

Well exploiting is similar to taking advantage of, just in a selfish manner--in which it fits the bill here.

Hacking is just ridiculous. You'll see bots regularly do that such as teleporting (spell check wants to replace this with telephoning god only knows why) across dungeons, flying, etc.

I'm sure Zenimax will fix this. For now, people are already coming up with ways to defeat them, and so far they're becoming a lot less challenging to deal with.

I had guild mates in pvp who has two vamps take a whole keep from 100 people cuz of bar swarm. And FYI you can prity much have unlisted ult if you spec it right as a Templar guildly runs it

He is not hacking nor exploiting. I get squashed by his guild daily on Aueriel's Bow. Vet 10 Vamps on all 3 alliances are doing this even without Emperor. Don't believe me? play on Aueriel's bow for one hour and see for your self.

Auriel's Bow has become a haven of vampires over the past week or so.

Massive increase in numbers.

I see a lot of strange things going on but it seems to be a case of broken mechanics rather than hacking or exploiting.

I get the feeling us non-vamps are going to be a minority soon.

I'd join them if I wasn't a cheap git and begrudged paying someone 20k for it.

An emperor L10 vampire can get endless bat swam

Passive
Increases health, magicka and stamina regeneration while in combat by 100%

Increases ultimate gains by 200%, and decreases ultimate costs by 5%

Stage 4 Vampire, Ultimate costs 60% less,

These means if bat swam is hitting 3 people, its creating enough NEW ultimate to cast it AGAIN. The more players withing his AOE, the more he heals and the more damage he does.

Just stay out of the bat swam AOE and use Silver bolts from a distance.

There are a few Dragonguard Armor Set

200% ultimate gain passive, get ultimate while getting hit from the fighter line passive, a few armor sets and boom = very fast ultimate gain to the point where the active ultimate is generating ultimate faster then its using it.
