Question about passive Dodge?
What is the base percentage of a characters passive dodge with no buffs,skills or armor enchants, 5% 10% ?
The reason I ask is I am trying to build a tank and was looking into the "Hist Bark" armor set (5 set bonus "While Blocking, add 200 Dodge Rating"), also does dodge effect only melee attacks or spells as well?

It could be intended to give a stamina reduction in using dodge.0 -

Nope, not true there is passive dodge aswell. As a NB I seem to do it quite a bit. There are also skills like Evasion that offer 20% dodge.What you mean 'passive' dodge? AFAIK there is only active dodge in TESO
OP, I too was wondering how it is calculated. Normally mmorpg combat +15-20 dodge is not huge. It seems much bigger here though.

Lol I love this game but man 'O' man this games is a hot mess when it comes to understanding or trying to understand anything outside of magicka, health and stamina, ESO really needs to give us a tooltip & clarity patch to help us theorycrafters understand such things.
I can't tell you how many people I talked to that still think stamina does not increase mouse attack damage and that roll is a percentage of max stamina, and for good reason, we have no clarity in this game, we have no way of finding this stuff out.
If it was'nt for addons like combat cloud I would have no way of understanding how my damage scales with weapons and gear1 -
