I've noticed now, over the duration of lvls 1- 48, the latter being where I am now.

That in quest lines, that require a player to follow or defend an npc or at times to kill an npc, which occurs in almost all quests, that if they player dies. The quest breaks.

This goes for end of Anchors, if you die, the marauder can vanish through many quests to coldharbour. It includes plaguebringer, fildgar and defending stibbons. Among others.

IF you die, there's every possibility that the boss/mob you're fighting will disappear and you won't be able to complete the quest without having to abandon and redo the entire quest line from the beginning of it's section. For example, one of the last quests, defending stibbons, if you die and abandon, you have to do the entire quest, yet with anchors, you have to do the last part again.

Dying during the quest should be part of your test procedure. Clearly, this is not the case or else, zos knew before release that almost every quest could be broken.

If you don't die.. the majority of the former has no bearing. If you do, you're in for a world of frustration.
