Zenimax should use some tools and find ways to get more player opinions !!!

Hello everyone,
I am one of those players that has been playing games for decades and just wanted to try ESO,too. This is not a criticism but instead I will make a suggestion for them.

According to me, ESO does not offer enough for their game content. Unbalanced characters and skills, zerg vs zerg PVP, no BG or arena or skirmish battles, VR10 is a must for playing in trials vs...

So I just unsubbed and decided to wait for a while.

But when I unsubbed I noticed that I was not asked anything. I mean when you unsub from WOW they want to know why ? You have to fill up a quick form and tell why you have left the game. But Zenimax does not want to know why you have left the game. And this is a really bad sign for them.

People must offer some ways to Zenimax to increase the qualitiy of the game because it seems that they are not experienced enough. So instead of fighting on the forums we should just make some suggestions to them.

That's all, I hope that everything goes well for ESO.

I agree to this , would be nice to have ingame surveys , optional ofc , which zen could use.

And ofc also like you said , a small form where you could say why you are leaving the game.

Player feedback is important , while the forums are a place for that , there could be many more.

There is a feedback tool in game that I have to hope people are actually using instead of only voicing their complaints here.

If only there were a feedback function in-game. Something as simple as typing "/feedback" and leaving your comments for the developers there.

    If only.

This is why the devs built the feedback function directly into the game. You use it by typing /feedback. It is the ONLY 100% guaranteed way to have ZOS pay someone to read what you have to say.

There is the feedback option in game, but really that requires folks to go out of their way to do it.. and thus I dunno that many would outside of those that already do.

A survey upon cancel to ask why is generally a good chance for actual feedback on why someone quits. Hopefully they'll add one in the future.

Typing one word in-game is "going out of their way"? If it feels like too much effort, obviously you don't care very much about the feedback you want to give.

    Thanks guys,
I really did not know the in-game option, my bad. I guess from now on I will just force people to use it in my guild until my acount expires.

You said they had unbalanced skills and then mentioned no BG or arena in the same breath.

You think it's bad in zerg PvP imagine how unbalanced those skills would have been in arena.

It would be vampire v's vampire .... and that would be it.

It would be nice to see some surveys, like they did at the end of the BETAs.
Maybe not as vague and an overall general Feedback email like they did.

But a more specific survey with some details so you know what you are giving feedback on.

But judging by the form posts and the poll's going on, and the massive chatter going on about broken skills with no info about them on the PTS and only minor craglorn info about them, like srsly no details.
That majority of feedback that doesn't escape this forum and spills onto twitter/facebook/reddit, probably won't do anything.

Who knows who you are actually giving your feedback to, and how they will crop it to pass onto people who can understand it, and that's if they understand it after it's been passed around like chinese-whispers.

You may have more chance of catching an STD than having your feedback legitimately looked at and given more than 5 seconds of thought.
Unless it's a PVE thing.. then they will jump right on it.

Apologies but my hands are too busy spamming keys while farming to reach for "/" or to alt+tab. Also, too busy enjoying the game to really care about the "little issues" people grief about.

Sometimes this is true. It really depends on the attitude of the person quitting. Most of the time I suspect you just get a bunch of mindless rage (as people just want to be done with the game at that point, not see it improve). I always felt annoyed when I'd cancel and have to go through a bunch of surveys or some crap. For me I've already given my feedback at that point, my 'last words' aren't terribly important or meaningful.

The idea of having a small form submission of why you are cancelling your subscription directly where you cancel is a good idea in itself, i just think the rest of your post was a bit unrelated and confusing for some people :P

It isn't to me, but because it's not something presented to them, most folks are not going to do it. Especially folks who are upset enough over something to quit. Gaining the feedback for why people are leaving is important to a company, so typically you'd want to gain as much information as possible.. which a lot of times means making it as easy as possible for the customer.

I don't want ESO to change the core of what it is or anything, but feedback from players leaving is still valuable.
