Ok so an alarming number of dungeon quests are currently heavily bugged.
I will compile a list here to aid the devs in debugging these. Especially since todays patch does not seem to address any (at least from the notes, not tested all).
Non VR Dungeons:
Tier 5 Dungeons (Aka: Selene’s Web, Blackheart Haven and the Blessed Crucible)
Each of these dungeons quest's auto share mechanic is heavily bugged, in full groups:
The first person to enter the dungoen will see the marker, and be able to pick up the quest - if he's quick.
2nd - Also fine
3rd - Good
4th - upon entry, the quest will attempt to auto share. This function is broken in these quest, which results in the quest THINKING it's been shared, thus deactivating for all of those who have not yet picked it up. (May apply to all 4 members).
The quest will otherwise work fine in a full group of players who have not yet completed if, it they each pick it up solo before hand.
VR Dungeons:
Tier 1:
Banished Cells:
Frequently, but not always - if some but not all party members have the quest, at the end - the required npc to speak to, to advance the quest and be able to smash the final crystal will be unresponsive, or may not spawn at all. This breaks the quest, and the entire dugeon for everyone.
Workaround:
All players who have the quest: Abandon it AND log out temporarily. The player withou the quest may then smash the crystal to proceed.
(Quest is generally completable if all 4 players have it to begin with, and follow the steps slowly)
Spindleclutch:
Frequently, but not always - The npc that needs to be revived (Mirra?) does not spawn. This breaks the quest, tho not the dungeon.
The npc can not die, but will gain agro and cause MANY issues:
- They will steal heals, due to their low hitpoints, lack of AI and the way the heal system works (Especially heals such as Honor the Dead)
- If you're party wipes at a certain point in the dungeon, especially during laggy times - the npcs may not correctly deagro and will result in your party being permanently dead. You can not relog to fix, you can not drop group to fix. There is no solution other then all logging out for 10mins for the instance to be deleted. (Screenshot available in another thread I posted)
Tier2:
Darkshade Caverns:
If some, but not all of your party members have the quest: Very frequently, but not always the door after the first boss fight will never unlock, breaking the dungeon. There is no workaround except for no one to pick up the quest.
On the 2nd major boss (Globbulus?) - If you fail the boss fight on your first attempt, he will permanently de-agro and no longer be targetable. This breaks the quest, but not the dungeon.
Wayrest Sewers:
If some, but not all of your party members have the quest:
Very frequently, possibly 100% of the time - Upon reaching the first locked door, the npcs will not unlock the door to allow you to proceed. There is no workaround except for no one to pick up the quest.
(The quest is otherwise completable if all 4 party members have the quest)
Elden Hollow:
No known issues however the above common bug the other two Tier2s has not been tested yet.
