Is this look possible?

This would be an awesome look for battle mages/priests/paladins but I haven't seen any actual players with this type of armor look. Is it possible?

And while I'm on the subject of armor, I know it's been brought up before but it's worth saying again. It would be awesome if we had the ability to transfer the stats from armor over to armor that we like aesthetically. I believe the process is called transmogrification. Lots of other MMOs do this already and it would be great to have the ability to do that here, too.

Looks like a Breton helmet, shoulders and chest plate, but the skirt isn't possible for players to wear, without wearing a robe.

I don't know to tell you the truth. That look could be available in some form or another somewhere. The clothing must have been designed like that so having player wearable gear that is similar is a possibility.

As for transferring stats then isn't that the adding of runes, are they called? When it comes to set items then I don't know that there's a way to add those abilities to different armour.

It would be a nice idea somewhere along the line, but I don't believe it's something most MMOs start with, but more something that is added later. Something to suggest in feedback perhaps. :)

I'd like to see a mage wearing a robe with attached steel plating around sensitive areas; chest piece, steel pauldrons, steel thigh guards etc etc.

Unless there's light armor legs out there that have the skirt model, probably not. I'm not aware of any offhand, as the skirt part is typically given by the chest (robe) not the legs.

Looks like the Deadra light pants are robe-like:

yes daeric light armor bottom is a skirt and can be combined with any top.
you need to get someone who has the style book to make an skirt of the level you want.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

That is awesome! Thank you both for the info! Are the Daedric motif books only found in Veteran content areas or can they be found anywhere?

This could be the magicka furnace set (VR1 and maybe also lower).
The helmet and the shoulders have the same look, but I never used the robe from that set so it's just a guess.
After checking this link it seems even more to me that the magicka furnace set is what you are looking for.
