Who else is excited by the higher resolutions being added soon and the changes to bow animations?

http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/87867/patch-notes-v-1-1-inc-craglorn-from-pts/p1

BTW, anyone have any idea what they mean by "Fixed various issues with the bow combat animation."?
Who has time? But if we never take time how can we ever have time?

Thanks, I hadn't caught those patch notes. I see a few goodies in there I'm excited for. :)

ESO is gorgeous, but I had hoped they'd slip in higher resolution textures over time. I'm very satisfied that they're already getting to it.

Some humanoid NPCs probably need that magic touch next. Some of them have clothing quite obviously just painted onto their body, without even the illusion of depth that most clothing has in the game.

However, this probably means I am going to have to get more RAM, don't think my measly 4gb will cut it anymore on max settings. Hey-*** it's high-time I upgraded it anyway lol.

EDIT: Why is Hey-H O censored lol? Even the seven dwarfs are allowed to sing that....

EDIT 2: ahh, now it's uncensored weird...

I'd be happier if there was some true fullscreen in there like pretty much every PC game that has come out since 1992.

I really hope this includes distant LOD textures too for those of us using graphics and view distance extenders.

As I understand you can be stuck unable to move sometimes, this is bad for you health
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Agree, seeing people dissapear at mid distance is stupid imo.

if you go in first person as bow user you'll see its little bit buggy... the arrow is shooting a different angle. try it for ya self in FP.

Given all the problems, some still very serious this game has, cosmetic fluffery like animations is really not a priority for me. The graphics are more than adequate already, lack of eye candy isn't one of this game's problems.

Characters are more or less fine. They should drastically increase resolution of world texutres, which in many cases are totally poor.

Not sure what the fuss is about, all I can see is improves resolution & animation for enemy npcs. Have I missed something ?

Ahhhhh, I see, I see. I thought maybe they were going to change the animation or something because it does look a little lame when your running with an arrow hooked but not aiming. I would prefer to have just the bow out whilst running around then grab an arrow when you aim.

Well if you read the extensive bug list you will see that actually they are addressing a lot of the major bugs in the game.

Did you read the patch notes? It will take you some time because it's very, very looooong

Well to me it is a start and shows me that Zeni are going to be optimizing this game for those lucky enough to have a great rig...

Mine is a dinosaur and I think once they up the graphics I will no longer be able to play on max... My measly 4gb DDR2 will no longer cut it. But I am happy for those that can reap the benefits.

any time I hear people bashing this games visuals, this is what they almost always are talking about. Horribly low res world textures. Rocks are a perfect example.

The other bash is always about the player animations (combat, running, walking up and down stairs, etc etc).

Fix these 2 things devs, so people dont have anything legit to bash the games visuals about.

Yep walking up and down stairs is no different to walking normally, this really does need changing.

I am guessing this is just a start though. They will (I hope) work towards improving the rest of the textures.
