Fighting back against the bots.

Has anybody else tried to lure mobs with AOE attacks over to bots that are harvesting nodes? I was near Brahma's Grove earlier and found quite a few of them, but one in particular made their camp a little too close to the champ spawn. Another player and I proceeded to kite 2 standard betties over to the bot and succeded in killing this menace with our "pets". The bot then used a soul gem to revive. Surprising, as it had the standard bot name of sjkbdfg or whatnot. We were shocked. Bot picked up where it left off, only this time it replied to me with /say. A brief discussion ensued, but it kept on. We brought 2 more betties over for round 2. This time it ran around trying to evade, going for the jute node when it spawned, hoping the betties wouldn't interrupt the harvesting process. After I awhile I said, Alright, I'm bringing over the Brahma, after which it took off running not to be seen again.lol Does anybody else try anything like this? Reporting doesn't help. GM's have only appeared in dungeons to my knowledge. it felt good to actually fight back against this plague that has been menacing our fair game.

Reporting does help, even if you don't see a bolt of lightning come down from the heavens the instant you hit the "Send E-mail" button.

Killing bots may be amusing, but it does nothing to actually solve the problem.

Some people I know who play ran across some unattended characters farming jute the other day. Apparently, you can get pretty close to 100 jute in just a couple minutes by standing there and farming it as fast as it appears, which is once every couple seconds.

But, these farmers were on a delay timer. When the node appeared, they would not grab it immediately, so if anyone walked up they could easily snatch it from them.

The funny part is, as they stood and watched this, apparently someone on the bot end of things noticed them and told them (/say) to go ahead and farm it if they needed the jute.

At least some of them are friendly... :)
