What are some of the more advanced sort of things to do in the game?

Please leave the insults and complaints out of this. I'm curious what advanced types of play people have found in the game so far. You know, those things that show up in the game that aren't readily apparent from the first glance at the game?

An example (and this isn't that advanced) is the dark anchor fights that I started coming across out in the middle of nowhere. The first few times, I wasn't sure what was going on, but then jumped in and started trying to do my best to cause as much destruction as possible.

Elder Scrolls has always been known for having sorts of things that people can do, even if it's not a usual type of thing people do. You know, the old "climb that hill over there and find something you weren't expecting" type of thing.
Clueless, but willing to learn.

Doing pve quests, scouting missions, public dungeons and Skyshard collecting In Cyrodiil is much more fun then anything zerg PVP has to offer .I also end up with more player kills when I do that. The only annoying thing is that Cyrodill PVE doesn't scale with VR rank.

Running around for hours on end killing mobs or even just mining is more fun than zerg pvp imo.

As for on topic, everything that you can do from the start is pretty much the same at the end so far as I have seen up to level 45, until they add adventure zones that is.

Adventure zones which are coming soon are going to be the real "elite" pve content. 12 man instances which will actually carry rankings and penalize you for how many people die over the course of the encounter... think of how the summon fights were in FF14, except more players, and each time 1 dies, the game takes time off the clock to finish the encounter. Pretty cool if you ask me.
