VR - THe Shifting Sands of Fate - Traitor Maradem

Has anyone else had any issues with defeating Traitor Maradem? Specifically the part when you get him down to 5% and he decides to run away and never come back... dropping the quest and logging out for 15 minutes hasn't fixed it.
Maybe there something I'm doing wrong?

MrBeatDown✭✭✭✭Yeah, this quest is bugged up. But this did not stop me from progressing to the next world map on vet mode. Just go to the halls of heroes and complete the last quest to continue. Youll have to grind out the lost xp to even yourself out.0
