Name: Krimie Nightvale
Age: 89
Birthdate: 2E 493, 12th of Sun’s Dawn
Birthplace: Falinesti, Valenwood
Race: Bosmer
Flair: Numerous freckles throughout her body and face, neck length auburn hair, dark green eyes
Rumors:
Krimie Nightvale is not very keen on opening her life history towards anyone, including her fellow Bosmer. Those that have known her since she was a young sproutling know that she was absent from Valenwood for almost 50 years and has recently returned. She strictly follows the Green-Pact since her return and has made her best efforts to absorb back into the Bosmer culture.
Background:
Krimie was born on the 12th of Sun’s Dawn in the year 493 of the Second Era to Kramkoo Nightvale and Naelael Sagewind of Falinesti, Valenwood. Very soon after her birth, the family moved south to the costal city Greenhart. Krimie was the second born of eventually nine children in the Nightvale family. Her father Kramkoo was a well respected Bosmer archer and merchant who held a bow shop in Greenhart.

Soon after the birth of her ninth and final child, Krimie’s mother, Naelael fell ill and succumbed to the debilitating effects of Corprus. She died in 2E 511. Being 31 and the oldest female at that time, Krimie felt it her responsibility to become the matriarch of the Nightvale family. Krimie was closest to her sister Kayte, who was 23 years her junior and the eighth of the nine children. The two of them shared a close mother-daughter relationship.
Krimie and Kayte Nightvale
In 2E 536 at the age of 43, Krimie, her elder brother, Nirlmir and younger brother, Nedlas traveled north to the great grant-oak city of Elden Root to pay homage to the Elden Tree. Upon arrival they met a Breton merchant noble from Wayrest, High Rock named, Grackon Stormgarden. The Brenton was very interested in them and invited the three relatively young Bosmer to join him as he traveled back to Wayrest. He offered them an opulent lifestyle and enticed them with fabulous riches. Krimie, being a woman of the wood, had no desire to accompany Grackon to his Breton homeland. Upon the eve of their departure back to Greenhart, Krimie and her brothers where bound by rope and forced into the Breton’s carriage.
Grackon Stormgarden, Noble Merchant from Wayrest, High Rock
Krimie, her brothers Nirlmir and Nedlas and five other Bosmer were captured by Grackon. His wife Tasia and he, utilized them as servants in their Wayrest estate. The Bosmer were well-kept and lived in a lavish environment. Over the decades the eight servants adapted to their cosmopolitan way of life but never forgot the smell of forest wood. Krimie, again being the eldest female took the role of prime caregiver for the Bosmer servants.
Krimie as the melancholy servant to Grackon Stormgarden
In the 555th year of the Second Era, Grackon’s wife Tasia gave birth to their only child and named her Avella. When she was three, her mother, Tasia was killed by a rogue vampire during a family outing to Iliac Bay. After the death of his wife, Grackon took Krimie as his mistress. Again, because of her maternal instincts, she became the primary caregiver for Avella and eventually birthed seven children with Grackon. The two never married as it would have been shunned upon for a Breton man to marry a Bosmer woman.
For 44 years, Krimie considered herself a slave to Grackon. Always submitting to Grackon’s wants and desires yet still caring for his eight children, including Avella. In 2E 580, two years before the Molag Bal Invasion, Krimie faced a moral dilemma. She would either remain as a slave of Grackon’s will or attempt to abandon Wayrest, with or without her children.
Her desire to escape was further escalated upon learning about a scandalous relationship between Avella and Krimie’s younger sister, Kayte. This is another story in itself that will be made in more detail later. Krimie eventually chose to abandon her Wayrest “family” and embark on a mission to find Avella and Kayte.
Avella Stormgarden and Kayte Nightvale, A forbidden relationship
Because she had been absent from the forests of Valenwood for almost half a century, Krimie felt very uneasy upon her return to Valenwood. She had to relearn her bowing skills and study the newer nightblade techniques. She hopes by joining the Blue Skooma Company she will acquire the necessary skills to track down Avella and Kayte.
