ESO Improvement Suggestions

I thought it would be good to create a thread about what the players think would make the game better.

Please share your thoughts about what you would like to see changed in this game.
Keep in mind, this isn't a list of requests or complaints... its just discussion on what you feel would make the game better.

I have a decent amount of things that I wish were different in the game

First off for me... one thing I noticed instantly was the way we run. To put it bluntly...I feel like we run like pansies. Trying to get immersed in a game like this isn't easy when I just don't feel like my character runs like the soldier he is suppose to be. I really wish we ran more like the way we did in Skyrim.

On that note... I also don't care for the way we hold weapons also, I liked the way we held weapons in Skyrim a lot more... It felt to me like we looked like we were ready for a fight to the death in Skyrim, compared to in ESO...where it just doesn't seem like there is any urgency there. Although the way we swing our weapons is pretty good so...I'm not sure how both couldn't be done properly.

I'm not sure how to say this next point... as it covers quiet a lot of things. I feel like the NPCs faces when they talk are way too robotic... which also then snowballs over to their body language. I feel like in a lot of situations where they SHOULD be showing signs of urgency, they just stand there and say "hi" to you as you pass them. For example, in quests where Daedra are invading a city... there is absolutely no urgency at all...this makes it very hard to get immersed in the game.

GORE, cmon... this is an M rated game, it feels way too clean for an M rated game. I loved being able to decapitate people in Skyrim... the blood and everything just adds so much to the game....This just adds to the NPCs feeling even more lifeless than their movements already make them look when there is barely any gore. Killing someone in Skyrim felt more intense because of it....

With that said about the gore, I also feel like with this being an M rated game, we should have been given more options to make our character look more fierce like in Skyrim. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I can't make any character in ESO look anywhere near as bad@$$ as my character in Skyrim...maybe its just the detail...or the way you can make them look all dirty and grimy....ESO is missing that feel.

Phasing....alright....now this is an MMO. It is fairly hard to play in a group with people when there is this much phasing. It feels like you're not even playing with your friends half the time because everything quest related has to be done by every single person, instead of working together as a group to complete it. You pretty much have to communicate with the people you're playing with to make sure they have clicked the puzzles of the quest just like you did, so you don't get stuck in a situation where you just see their little V floating around in the air.

Just adding to what I said about the phasing part....boxes, crates, baskets, etc.... these shouldn't be shared among everyone. These are something that I feel should be phased to each individual, just like the way looting gear off of a dead body works. Playing with friends makes this extremely difficult to level up professions, when everyone else is looting things also. It got to the point where I just let my friends take everything so it didn't cause any issues.

Now the obvious that everyone already knows about, the issue of Public dungeons. They need to have some kind of one time loot/xp system or something, or possibly once per hour... there are way too many people farming the bosses. It completely ruins the immersion and build up of your anticipation for the boss when there are 20+ people standing around it, killing it in 2 seconds, while there is 50 versions of the bosses corpse laying on the ground.

These are all I can think of for now, If I think of more I might add some later on.

Please share what you would have liked to be different in this game!
