Leveling Attribute Point Distribution

Most folks I see here seem to say put everything into Health at 50. But is everything into Health viable while trying to level up a character to 50?

About to roll a Nightblade who will use mostly class skills with a couple from Bow. Will all attribute points into Health serve this character well while leveling or will be be constantly out of Magic and Stamina?

If not all into Health while leveling what would you suggest?

For leveling you should probably go 20M/ 29H or 15M/29H/5S since it gives you room to experiment. You put all in health when you have optimal gear. I ended up with 19/28/2 an I still didn't change at almost VR4.
As NB we have some pretty high mana reqs early on but later we have some awesome siphoning abilities which make the mana and stamina less essential.

Also some people chose to not go directly into 49H and they are still effective with things like 49M. or a split between mana and stamina.

Finally changing stats is much cheaper then changing skills so you can try out and find what works best for you.

I have mine spread out even and use health+ food. No clue if that is a good idea or not but I have made it to level 34 well enough.

Can one of you explain what putting points into one specific attribute does? I have 13/14/13 as templar, I am always running out of mana, health and stamina.. yet, I've noticed on my wiz, who is at 9/1/0 that he doesn't really die much.. so how do the individual attributes affect play?

I put 0 in health. 24 in magic 16 in stamina, 0 health. A few points not allocated yet. But I found what my magic cant do, I can do wth a few actions from two handed weapons. Regen gear and food for HP is helpful though.

    A weird question.

If you add to magicka , you get 10 magicka points.
If you add to stamina , you get 10 stamina points.
If you add to Vitality , you get 15 vitality points (atleast i think now is 15).

I focus on magicka on my templar , therefore having a huge magicka pool helps me toss more skills, all there is to it.

Class skills use mostly Magicka. Weapon skill use mostly Stamina. I'm not sure why Health is maxed out by people (but it's worth a shot to try?). It's usually good to not put points into stats equally. Invest most of the points into the one that has the type of skills you use the most and spend the rest in another skill. Leave one stat without any points.

If you still need a boost to certain stats, invest in provisioning and make food to boost that stat (you can only have one food buff at a time).
For my Templar, my stats are about 1 health to every 4 magicka. 0 stamina.

You want to make sure you put your mouse over the different attributes in the character sheet and understand what it's telling you. Health is straightforward, more health. Magika and Stamina however are important because not only do they increase those pools, they make the abilities that use those resources more effective (ie powerful). If you are a heavy magika ability user and put no points in magika and all in health you will survive longer but take longer to kill things. You need to find a balance between health and what your primary damage attribute will be. (my 2 cents)
