I absolutely suck.

I am a V4 Wood Elf Nightblade using a bow as my primary. I absolutely aced the content up until V2. Starting around V3, I began getting owned. Groups of three and four mobs at a time are close to impossible for me. Healer bosses are completely impossible for me, especially those with 14x my hit points (21k to my 1.5ish k). Bosses that summon faster than I can burn them down are my daddy. Bosses with 17k hp that keep summoning 3k werewolves prove with finality that I am not cut out to be an adventurer because I am no hero -- I am a regular loser nobody in way over my head. Should I just craft in this game? Because the veteran content is clearly not meant for losers like me. I literally have zero chance to beat, for instance, The Hound with his 17100 hp, who can sit back and range me while I try to keep burning down his 3400hp werewolf adds that tank me.

I know I need to reroll and make an Imperial Templar, but the idea of grinding out all this content again is depressing. Will somebody console me please?

I'm sorry, I don't see how you suck. I'm a 25th level Sorcerer that needs to hide behind my 2 familiars. I suck! You are a V4 Nightblade, you rule dude! Don't let any mob tell you otherwise!

On a more serious note, don't reroll cause Templars are probably on the short list for a serious swing from the nerfbat.

The only way to know for sure if you suck or not is to go into Cyrodiil.
If you can beat other players, you don't have a problem.

I often find the solo PvE content of MMOs is unevenly balanced across classes and this game seems worse than most.

I finished every single quest I started until V3. Now I just quit the ones I can't beat -- and those are becoming more and more common. I am going to have to grind out the rest of these levels in PvP and group dungeons with people who'll carry my sorry ass out of the goodness of their hearts.

You should probably skill up dual wield and go some other skills. Bow is currently pretty bad, its fine for a secondary but not as a primary.

Yeah, I've been noticing that. One of my alts started out using a bow exclusively (along with a lot of stealth). I never ran into a situation where I felt she was completely incapable of succeeding using the bow, but I realized pretty quickly that playing using her was way harder than playing with all of my other toons, so I've been leveling some melee with her to keep me from getting into a situation where she's high level and I feel like she simply can't compete (at which time it will be major PITA to start on a new weapon skill). She'll still be primarily an archer, but she'll have options.

IMO destruction or restoration staff are much more effective and versatile ranged options than bow right now. I feel like you can make bow work, but it's a lot harder to do than every other option.
