Yeh.. I know.. it happens to everyone.

You buy the game, you install it, takes ages...and ages.. and patches..
You play the game..

Now, all frustrations aside.. ignore all your complaints, suggestions and so on.
You quest.. you clear areas and maps. You move on..

If you're like me, you get to around lv 41-45 you've done every quest on the map (except cyradil where people kill you) and i don't like the idea of grinding 5 more levels.. or worse.

You realise that trying to retrain in a new weapon type.. is practically impossible.

This is the main issue my templar is facing. At lv 41, I have 47 in Dual Wield, 42 in Sword/Shield and 27 in 2h. 30 in resto staff.

I enjoy using dual wield and I really enjoy using 2 hand.. now I'm having to restart..having spent something like 30k gold in respeccing skill points, I've come to realise.. it's not the skills.. per se.. it's the amount of skill in the skills.

I've missed quests that are grey, I did many quests in the wrong order, often doing quests that were 5 levels above me. Many others I can't beat at all. Probably due to my build.

I am not a script character builder.. I like to tinker and this is undoubtedly my weakness. Problem is.. I don't really want to do the same quests I did all over again.

So I choose a different realm.. and lo.. I find even more things that annoy me.

My bank is cross realm.. Not separate. I can talk to anyone in any realm.. via guilds which are also cross realm. Can you imagine pvp.. 'where's so and so'.. 'oh he's over there'.. 'well thank you'.. not the kind of pvp I want to play. I prefer hide and seek and ah ha! gotcha..

Getting more frustrated now.. my mates are logging out with me as well, we're playing the games we left to play eso.. but we're still logging in to feed our horses. Check the mail for hirelings..

Anyone else getting this way? 3 weeks into release.. still got 2 months of account time prepaid.. can't really be bothered clicking that button anymore??

If you're level 41, you have not completed all the quests in your alliance's area. You're also ignoring Coldharbour.

heh...not even close. I've been playing 2-3 hours about 5 days a week since early release - my only real character just cleared 19.

I *can't* be tired of anything - I haven't really done anything yet :) I *do* recognize some of the issues with trying to switch and train weapon skills that just don't interest you late in the game - I'm already pushing 3 weapon sets, with some minor time spent in one other - and at some point, I'll simply *have* to train in staff, even though I'm almost sure I have no desire to play it - because, if I don't start *now* - it'll be even harder later

I've also run into the problem with "missing" quests, so I meta-game a little bit while playing, deliberately throttling myself back to make sure I don't miss anything if I can help it - it's a *little* frustrating, to have to break out of the immersion long enough to try and "guess" just what order the quests you were *supposed* to do, but not so bad that I've given up hope.

honestly, neighbor - you're 3 weeks into the game, and, if I read your post correctly, haven't tried the game significantly from any other class OR alliance perspective. Since you asked, *I* would say that it sounds like you're giving up rather quickly. In the end, that's your choice - but I think you have LOTS of options still left to you to try out, if you're willing to.

NOt me, I am having a blast creating many alts and haven't got past level 12 yet...

However I am getting sick of seeing the inside of the wailing prison. Damn my OCD...

You know you can skip that part after the first character did it right?:D you will still get the skyshard, level and everything.

Yeh, maybe I'm just depressed abit.

I have noticed that the idea of giving "the ability to swap weapons" at lv 15.. is actually a really bad idea.. unless you only swap to the same weapon type. Just change the skills.

This is because the previous weapon set will start to suffer, as you won't use them as much.. and later on, you'll find it hard to kill certain mobs.. like cold harbour.. I can't get into there.. I can't kill the mobs to get there, my weapons aren't hitting as hard as they should.

    And I'm using epic blades..
I honestly feel, I need to restart, the same class, but this time concentrate on following each maps' quests in order.. to maximise xp outpost. Learning from the mistakes of the first run.

There's also the issue that there's more than a few quests and quest lines, that I don't want to do again.. I just didn't enjoy doing them the first time... thus.. I chose a different realm.. new experience etc.

I'll take a few days break and then pile into it again.

I'm actually 4 weeks into it, I guess if you include the 5 days ea.

Damn my brain and it's illogical logic.

I totally know what you mean.. I have eight characters and all have gone through the wailing prison looting every single urn and chest "just in case"
