Lag - Anyone else feel this?

Before I begin, let me go through a story. My internet had issues for awhile, its call fixed now. End of story.

My PC is top of the line, custom build, so its not my PC. Internet is 107/5 so its not my internet.. but every once and awhile I get these random spikes where I lag, the mobs lag, or whatever reason the game lags on me. This doesn't stop me from playing, but it does cause me to die, quite abit.

I'm curious if anyone has these issues around these times of the day as well? Perhaps their mega server needs more power to handle the peak hours? Others I have spoken to ingame say they get the same lag spikes as well. While others don't seem to notice, probably because they aren't doing anything when it happens.

I usually play just fine, no delay, weapon swaps fast, etc. Just curious if anyone gets feels lag spikes like I do.

Yes, currently there seems to be a 3-5 sec delay on everything. Took me about 5 re-log's to get my mail.

Oks, so its not just me. Sometimes I feel so alone whenever I ask in Zone chat, and everyone just ignores me.

I normally notice about a 2 min delay in my guild chats where I see mass "anyone else getting massive lag?" when I get lag. I just logged off because of it.

I just cancelled my subscription over this very issue.
I did experience spikes of 5-30 seconds every once in a while prior to the April 25th patch, but since then it is occurring much more frequently. Sometimes I am getting 2 or 3 of these lag spikes in a single fight, other times I can go 5 minutes without having one.

• Drivers are up to date
• FPS ranging from 55-65 on ultra settings
• Latency ranging from 250-350ms reporting through resource monitors TCP window
• CPU under about 20% loading while the game is running
• Memory under about 20% loading while the game is running
• I'm located in Australia

If you're from EU, the servers are located in the US. That'll explain the lag.
If you're from US, there is loads of old/bad/overused areas your connection might be going through and as such, gets throttled down/packets go missing etc.

@Frail_Old_Man‌ This isn't regular lag. I'm used to playing at 250-350ms latency as an Oceanic in just about every other MMO i've played. This is different, it's not an issue of slight delay, it is spiking of 5-30 seconds and abilities just not activating when they should. That video explains what slowly begins to happen to me over the course of the day. I start out just fine, no delay, nada. then bam. Its what that video shows.

I'm NA, not EU. If you do not notice this delay people speak of, I'm pretty sure you are doing nothing at the times, or even playing during the times this is happening.

I think there is something else going on. Some of it may very well depend on the zone you are in, My character is up in the VR4 area and I don't seem to have much lag, but there doesn't seem to be many folks around the area.

My wife is still back in the level 30 zone and it seemed pretty rough, especially in the cities. Last night I was crafting at a city and I would craft an item and it would be 10-15 secs before anything happened. At first I thought I didn't hit the key. Then you would see the screen start fast forwarding all the people around and my item would then get made. This when on for about 5-10 mins

As soon as I ported back to the V4 area, all the lag was gone. I imagine there is some server lag\issues going on. Maybe today's maintenance and hotifx will address a chunk of it.

I also have this issue. I won't be re-subbing if this problem keeps happening.
