I love this game, but man this is one of the whiniest communities (at least on the forums). Will you all just stop with the drastic speculation of the things that are going to kill ESO? There is such a sense of entitlement from so many people who argue on this forum that it is almost nauseating. You paid sixty dollars and a sub fee. Good job, we all did. How about instead of being part of the problem by constantly complaining and offering up no solution, you try to improve on the game we all want to succeed by providing constructive feedback and giving the devs some damn breathing room to sort through actual issues they may not yet be aware of? This is mostly in response to hate on the new trials system Craglorn is introducing, but it can be applied to pretty much everything on these forums every single day.

1. Elitism - So what? Seriously, so what? .....So what?! You are asking Zenimax to change the nature of people? Or that you don't want those people in YOUR game? Stop. If people want to be elitists and you don't like it then don't group with them. Make friends in this online community and stop trying to play it as if it is a single player game. Yes, it is The Elder Scrolls which has always been about single player experiences.... but it's the Elder Scrolls ONLINE.

2. Premades vs. group finder tool - You complain about elitism and then want a group finder tool? Guess what, if you can't find 11 other people that you actually WANT to play with because they lack the elitist attitudes that you say ruin your experience, then your answer shouldn't be "give me 11 random people to play with and I will get mad when YOU can't make sure none of them are elitists, Zenimax". If you can't get a group of 11 friends that you enjoy grouping with in a Massively Multiplayer Online game with thousands if not millions of other inhabitants, then you should try to get better at making friends and that isn't something Zenimax is responsible for.

3. Time to complete - Can't set aside an hour or two to play the new content? What should Zenimax do now? Get you a new job that allows more free time or lets you play at work? They don't control your life or schedule, if it's something you want to experience then move things around so you have time to experience it...

4. "Lets you play the way you want" - Man..... this argument gives me explosive diarrhea. "I want to play Elder Scrolls as a flying unicorn that poops rainbows and vomits food all over the hungry children of Tamriel, ZENIMAX YOU SAID I COULD." Just go away. You can play the game the way you want. They never said "You can play however you want and still be a viable source of dps/healing/tanking that people will want to group with". If you don't like the way this game is going then just unsubscribe already and go make your own game that allows you to faceroll with any build you want and still be a winner winner chicken dinner. Want to experience every piece of content the game has to offer without every grouping? Go play a damn single player game then.

5. Crafting is supposed to be bessssst! - No it isn't. Crafting and PvE are BOTH required in order to have the best possible gear. So.... you're wrong. Stop being wrong, Wrongie McWrongenheimer.

6. BOTS ZOMG BOTS - Dude.... they know.

I work on snotty little kids iPads day in and day out, and do you know what they do? "Is it fixed yet? Hey is it fixed yet? Is it fixed now?" Sound familiar? Stop being a snotty little kid and relax. Enjoy all the great things this game has to offer and let Zenimax work in peace on the damn issue.

7. This class is OP. This weapon is OP. This class sucks. It's a new MMO. Can you let them fix the bugs, glitches, bots, and exploits before you stop griping about balance issues (90 percent of which are completely unwarranted). If you find a balance problem, post it in a constructive manner and cite what exactly the issue is and why it is an issue. Not "Hey man my nightblade keeps getting beat by sorcerers, nerf sorcerers, so OP!"

The community here versus the community in the game, is as night and day, to be honest. But this is 2014, where the seasoned gamers know that forums are a nightmare no matter where you go, and those enjoying the game are busy..enjoying the game (or waiting for their significant other to sort out their emails.... cough)

The real problem in the forums are that the genuine issues that can and need to be worked out by ZOS are swallowed and engulfed by the disingenuous threads.

I've been playing mmorpgs since last century (heck, we can even say last millinium now ) and one thing I've always found on forums is that it's the far to vocal minority that keeps sitting behind their keyboards on forums asking to nerf this, change that, we want this, you have to get rid of that...

People that actualy love the game might post a suggestion or two (usualy good ones at that) but for the rest... they are actualy in game playing

Don't get disheartened by the forums in their current form... The 30 days are nearly over and things will settle down after alot of people leave due to not renewing or to moving on/back to different games.

Afterall, it's not the people that leave that count... it's those that stay

A crafter will be required to make dropped items better ( I.E improvements) if it has a set bonus you can't craft normally.

Well it really depends on the delivery. If you say it sucks then i agree its not helpful. If you give constructive criticism then i feel thats justified such as the ui for guild stores.

Also on the group finder thing although this is sort of off topic but group finder tools work in smaller dungeons but the bigger groups that require 8 or more people dont work very well unless everyone knows what they are doing. Like sometimes you need to do tank swapping so the tanks need to be able to communicate and such. That type of content is better in a guild format. It is quite effective in smaller or easier content though if done right though.

I think your commentary is somewhat hyperbolic. While I would be tempted to say this community is no better or worse. I would be lying, because this is really one of the better communities I have experienced. Outside of the launch, and till fairly recently there really weren't that many complaints to be found here.

The reason more complaints are cropping up now. Has everything to do with the game being designed as a linear experience. A terribly redundant one at that. If they weren't going to allow players an environment where they could make their own fun. Then they did have a duty to keep their on rails experience fun throughout. Which you have to be honest. They didn't do a good job with.

The recycling was taken to ridiculous proportions. I have personally seen such in some games, but those games are doing so to populate a large amount of virtual real estate. This game is basically a smattering of theme parks. Honestly with as little as they were building. They shouldn't have had to resort to the kind of recycling we have seen.

It isn't any wonder that some people are getting cranky after having seen the thirtieth iteration of the exact same dungeon, or have taken part in the exact same event for the fiftieth time. Even the combat gets worse as you progress in the game. Eventually players end up using a fraction of the moves they have unlocked, and default to spamming one or two attacks. Yes it really is that bad.

You should probably recognize these things before you continue to visit any of the official forums. The burnout is only going to get worse over the coarse of time. You are playing a game that is getting fed out to the consumer in small increments. They can't go preoccupy themselves with something else. They are going to burn through that content fast, and then they are going to moan about starving for the remainder until more is delivered, and to do that they are going to have to overlook a lot of other things that don't cast the game in a bad light.

I could of swore I paid for this game and have a sub coming. That makes me a customer I am pretty sure. And if the game is buggy, broken, and etc. Paying a sub gives me the right to say this or that is wrong with game, and why is there no real customer support.

I try not to insult anyone, because truthfully besides some posts I don't know who you are. I see posts that I don't agree with or dislike, but I don't insult or look down at that person, it is their opinion. They have a right to their opinion because they pay to play.

I guess what I am saying is I disagree with your post, but you have every right to post your opinion but you do not have the right to insult or grief other paying customers for their posts.

Seriously, People need a place to vent their frustration most are just looking for a little sympathy. They just want to feel that they are not just a random figure on some executives chart or sales graph. We have a constitutional right to whine and use CAPS while we have the right to think they're stupid and immature. This is nothing try voice chat on xbox playing CoD now that is whining (also the reason I play PC now). A 2 word response from an admin/mod saying "got it" goes a long way to appeasing the masses. However, all the things that are either bad design choices, broken game functions or flat out unplayable "features" can make ESO "fail" and become F2P or worse.

I and many others come here to fight to make ESO better.

See, at first I thought you were going to make some kind of plea to the fringe of the forums, the wackos, the real trolls, but then you had to go and say something juvenile like that.
