Naw. Some people are obsessed with vampires...kinda like those with Rangers or paladins. Everyone else who plays them, simply because vampires are fairly OP atm. Fairly normal in mmo's, imo.

Honestly, Vampire issues could be a easy fix..

1 - Reduce the fire vulnerability/fix the other passives
2 - Remove Bat Swarm, make Mist Form actual immunity and last 5 seconds, make it the ultimate, worst you'll have is Poison mist chasing one person rather then Devouring Bat tanking of raids.

Just my thoughts on the matter, theres more to the vampire skill tree then the bat ult, which in my opinion seems kind of "lame" (although its very powerful) by making mist form the ultimate you also help offset some of the outcry about overly strong escape actives (bolt and Mist)

Yep the majority goes for the Flavor of the month, then it gets nerfed and that crowd rides a different train, you're right it Does happen in every MMO

Purely flavor in my eyes, once people heard how easy it is to play as a vampire they all hopped on the train. The bonus damage from fire is hardly effective when you can't hit them for a majority of the fight and no longer a deterent.
