How can you justify 15 a month for this mess?

I wish you guys would have waited a few extra months to iron this game out. You will never get the first month back from this mess that you have made.

1) Combat is a mess, People able to skip animation with interrupt. Shield bash doing more damage than some skills. Delay in casting, Many of the NightBlade skills don't work like they should or just half work.

2) Questing is fun, I love the story and love to check what is around the corner, but a MMO can't live off questing alone. The combat has to be fun, and ESO combat is filled with bugs and loopholes.

3) The lack of Brotherhood and thieves guild. Two things that many many TES players love, and the fact it is not at release is a BIG negative in my books. Not being able to pick pocket, and steal really?

4) The lack of crime? *sighs*

5) The fact that it is a bloody mess to group with friends.


I'm sure it would have a great niche following, but in the state it is in right now. I can't and many others can't justify 15 a month if you can't at least tells us what is to come. I'm not talking about the whole raid stuff that is coming out soon. Many players don't really care about raiding, what we wanted was a Elder Scrolls MMO that we can play with friends and you even got that wrong at many parts.

To each their own.

1) I enjoy the combat. I don't love it because there are definite improvements that can be made. I don't dread it though like I came to in SW: TOR, LOTRO and WoW.

2) Questing is fun, as is PVP, as are the dungeons. I'm not sure what else you're looking for.

3 & 4) They've stated that the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood will be coming. If you think that you're going to be able to kill and steal from anyone like in other ES games though...that's 98% not going to happen. Can you just imagine the flood of complaints?

5) Phasing does require you to work with your friends. When it comes to dialogue you have to work as a group to decide on which conversations to select. I wish they had implemented the group dialogue mechanics from SW: TOR (the only thing that game has going for it is story) but they didn't. So until it is fixed it means working closely with your group to avoid phase separation.

As much as i've enjoyed the game, that one right there did irritate me quite a lot.

2 of the main guilds in an Elder Scrolls game and they saved them for future patches or DLC (if they charge, I will not be a happy bunny).

They really should have been in the game from the start.

Crime is another one.

I can understand not having things your average MMO has like nameplates or chat bubbles but this Elder Scrolls game is missing things that are central to Elder Scrolls.

Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, crime and housing are all things people come to expect from an Elder Scrolls game.

I enjoy the combat also as well, but not with the loopholes and skills not working.

Questing the sheer amount of bugs with it and content I have to skip because the game was not ready is bs.

They stated that it would be in, it should be end at release. They are core TES things that matter. I don't care about stealing from other people. Who i did want was a endless random gen quests of things to steal missions and people to kill.

Sorry, but grouping in this game is the WORSE of any mmo I have done. No share objectives? Having to kill a boss three times because I have people who did not get credit when they should have. Seeing a floaty arrow instead of my friends?


They are going to pay a heavy price for trying to rush it out before wildstar.

I have played every TES game, more MMOs than I could possibly name...how do u justify paying $15 a month for ESO? Simple, it's the most enjoyment I have had in an MMO in a very long time and I spend more than $15 if I go to a 2 hr movie.

If I can't justify enjoying myself 60hrs a month for $15 how can I ever justify going to the movies again? I honesty don't understand this post and the countless others like it. Even if you are dead broke you will not find cheaper entertainment.

Sounds like you are just not enjoying the game in its current state in which case you either wait a few months and try it again or don't. Complaining about issues that everyone is aware of, including the Devs does nothing, do you think they don't want to fix bugs? Do you think they want to run off their playerbase?

If your problems are with the core mechanics of the game then sadly maybe this game is not a fit for you. It's unfortunate but it happens, there are a number of games I was hoping to like but it just wasn't happening.
Frustration happens I know but damn do we really need 20 different posts a day about it. Sticky a complaint post and everyone post there so the rest of us don't have to sift through these posts every damn day.

This is all well and good and glad you like it, but my problems with the game are the bugs with the combat, and the quests mostly.

I can wait on the other stuff, but the fact that I can cheat the system with bash, makes me question what they are thinking release like this.

What skills? It does more damage than light attacks, true.
