Suggestion: In Game mail - Replies

Please add the ability to reply to mail and be able to follow a discussion.
As a crafter it is very hard to keep track of conversations and trait demands from clients when i cannot see what i even answered to the mails before. A back and forward mail chain would be great!

✭✭✭✭✭I support this, I have the same problem.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.
Meet my characters:Command: Do the thing.
Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.2 -

Also if possible a Sent Messages Tab for messages sent within a few days. Say 2-3 days or less. OR if you want to spoil us a Diary *wink*. I use a Mod for that, ZAM Notebook but it causes errors here and there.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I can understand why they would want to limit this, so the email system does not turn into a Chat system. But, we should be able to send at least one reply to a sender.
I am accepting invites into the Guild I recruit for and it's very clunky to go back and forth between the Inbox and Send to let people know they are in. Not to mention it would making crafting easier.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I can understand why this isn't already in the game. It's a space issue. When people reply to emails all the information is linked to the reply and carried over. Do that a hundred times and it's all wasted space. They would have to setup the function so that you could reply to the email and only connect the email you replied to. Then each email/reply would be completely independent of future replies and the data would not build up.

When I buy something I don't want an over zealous merchant PM'ing me or mailing me to buy more of his wares. No thanks to name being included. That only has potential to lead to head aches. I have received mail sent to guild I was a member of. I believe they used MailR the addon listed above.

Indeed MailR guild mail add-on (there's 2 parts to add on) allows sending to guildies. What is especially brilliant is you get copy of each mail you send in a different folder from where mail is kept allowing it to remain forever AND not take up mail box space. . I use this add-on with my main to keep records of armor orders filled. I don't use it on alts, their mailboxes do not show the replies or saves.
Oh yeah, you can copy, reply AND forward mails. Hey ESO! Get on it!

The informaton is still openly available to anyone in the trading guild through the store logs.It's not as if you are anonymous when you buy stuff.
At least they went to the trouble of correcting the typo "the your item" to "your item", but that's the only change they have made to messages about sales and purchases since launch.
