Recording Game Play

Ok so I'm relatively new to PC games, but I have played a lot of console games. I see quite a few post with uploaded game play videos. Since I run into a lot of strange and interesting things I would like join in on the fun. Can anyone recommend a program that is easy to use and compatible with ESO? Will recording increase lag or cause other problems? I have used programs that came with my console, but that was idiot proof.

Thanks in advance.

Fraps. The free version will atleast give you an idea of what kind of lag it will put on your system . I think it only records in 30 second intervals on that version however.
There are many others, but that's what I use (but I have the paid version).

If you have an AMD card you can use the raptr tool its a lot better than Fraps and less demanding on your system.

You can use Nvidia Shadowplay then ;)

Nice I think that came with the system and is updated with the game drivers. I will try tonight. Thanks for the advice.

Since you're using a GTX 770, I would highly recommend going with shadowplay. It's included for free in the nvidia geforce experience program. It has virtually no impact on performance, and also outputs very small file sizes. Quality seems great too. You can even capture 60 fps at 1080p.
