No Bow drops at all!! - level 11 now

Hi guys I play a bow/dual wield dunmer. Level 11 now, and except for the newbie bow from Coldharbour "sentinel's leash" I haven't gotten ANY bow drops from anything! Is there something wrong - or is this the way it's supposed to be?

I am getting a lot of two handed weapons, though.. not much use to me. thanks

    From what I've seen bow drops are far less common than other weapons. However I did get a purple bow from a level 20+ dungeon boss last week.

    Early on, crafting can be a great way to keep your equipment up-to-date if you're a bit unlucky with drops.

    You don't need to invest any points in Woodworking to craft yourself a better maple bow. Just harvest some maple trees out in the world and hit a woodworking station in town.

    You can either craft them or find them on mobs. There are also quests that hand out bows.

    Early on? Hell, I'm VR2 and I still craft all of my own gear. Lol

    I have had plenty of Bow drops on most of my characters on all levels, calm your boots. You'll get one.

    I tend to see staff drops more than anything, tbh. Probably because there are two types of staves.
    VR12 Templar Tank
    VR6 Dragonknight DPS
    VR3 Templar Healer

    Well, yes. I meant more in the sense that you can easily craft any of the tier 1 gear without spending a single skill point if you wish.

    thx.. i guess ill have to wait but it's been so long already.. i havent played an mmo since ultima online. it is just weird to me when i kill, say, a skeleton archer, and i dont get a bow.

    and thats one of the major features of elder scrolls..you get everything from a drop..not random stuff like in ESO..

    I have received a good number of bow drops; I haven't noticed any weapon being dropped less than another.
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

    Well that explains your expectation. I don't know if any MMO since actually had all the equipment the mobs use drop with them.

    Granted they don't drop as much as other type weapons, but why would they a bow is a bow. but here are numerous types of one hand and 2 hand weapons, just one hand you can have a sword ,axe ,mace, dagger. So I would expect them to drop more. That being said I have received a few bows for my bow user. enough that it has not been an issue.

    No, but first expansion you get to enslave other players. And some S&M stuff

    this is what i am talking about. they tamed MMOs so much that killing a player and looting them seems like a bizarre idea...

    (while in reality, as well as other elder scrolls games, early mmos.. it totally makes sense!)

    It's funny, with my archer I get like...no bow drops. With my other characters I have gotten bows dropping galore, mostly around ninth level.

    Playing Dominion there's a number of bows that I can remember getting from quest rewards prior to level 15. I don't find many as drops, but I always seem to have a decent one.

    Craft one, they're so easy to makes besides the traits/chants but you're only low level it's not like they're going to matter a lot to where you can't kill anything, sure they help some but meh

    Just gather a few pieces of wood, buy your racial trait then create, so easy.

    Ummm ... buy one from an arms dealer. If you don't craft then you are selling all your drops and should have plenty of $

    Check chests as well. At least I've been finding around three green or above bows per zone so far from chests... and the occasional one from a quest.

    Don't forget that there are also NPC vendors selling gear around the cities. No need to craft while leveling if you don't want to but you do need gold.
