Becoming a Werewolf

So, i have this Sanies Lupinus infection on my character with what seems to be a timer. 6d 23m etc.

I understand that i must complete a quest within this time frame ? Yet no quest has popped up and i have no idea where to go. Asking in chat i was kindly showed the location of a person that speaks to you, yet that NPC was not there for me. Will this quest randomly pop up or is there something i need to do? Would like to get it done before the time expires.

Any werewolves out there that can shed some light on this for me please?

Thanks

You will receive a quest from an NPC in a nearby town; nearby with relation to where you were infected.

The Vampirism quest is similar however it is received at a local Way Shrine.

Yeah i went to the city, but no quest came up. I even had somebody show me where the NPC would be, but there was no one there for me.

I assume vamp and werewolf is the same, if you were bitten by a player the quest comes from the shrine/ceremony site-whatsits, not an npc. The NPC only shows up if you were bitten by an npc. If this is the case and the npc isn't there then I dunno. Refer to people above I guess ^

When I contracted vampirism from an npc I did not notice a timer, but I was told from people I've bitten that they had a timer on their disease, that coincides with the cooldown of the biter.

You're completely right. I was being dumb, i got it from another player and completely missed the scroll sitting on the shrine. Instead i went to the city expecting to find the NPC. Sorry for being an idiot guys.

He will turn into a hairy Micheal J Fox and appear in one decent film that will spawn a terrible sequel?
